Casal Antigo Bed and Breakfast Guest House in Cascais, Portugal

Casal Antigo is an old restored “casal” situated in the coast road to Cascais or Lisbon.
 

After some modifications we have tried to recover the house keeping the original structure ; and to provide it from all the commodities , services and ; why not ; also those small luxuries that we all deserve in our “escapes” or holidays.

We feel really proud to can open the doors of our house to everyone that appreciates the difference of spending some days in a great and exceptional environment.

 

All our rooms are outward facing; have private bathroom and are fully equipped with heating; air conditioned; safety box; cable TV; DVD; and decorated with quality old detailed furniture mixing the spell of the ancient with the comfort of the new . (Extra beds are available in all rooms)

 

We can offer you three different possibilities depending of your interest number of people and plan:

 

The family suite is ideal for a family of two adults and two children. The suite has one double and one twin bedroom sharing a bathroom, a small sitting area and views over the patio and swimming pool area.

The garden room has a private shower room and views to the garden.

 

The Sea suite has a private bathroom and a small balcony with wonderful views to the ocean and Guincho beach. Extra beds are available in each bedroom.

Start the day in the breakfast gallery with a nourishing breakfast whilst gazing out onto Guincho beach and admiring how the green of the mountain merges with the blue of the sea.

 

Spend a quiet evening in the dining room, and sample a bottle of wine from our selection.

Rest in the living room reading, watching TV or choose one of the titles that we have to offer in our DVD collection.

Relax in the sun by the swimming pool or in our solarium. At the end of the day watch the sunset over Guincho from the balcony.

Penha Longa Golf Resort

The Atlantic Course is an 18-hole, par 72, championship course of 6,290 meters, offering a challenging course with breathtaking views over the ocean with Estoril and Cascais to the South and the Sintra hills to the North. The Monastery Course is a nine-hole, par 35 course of 2,588 meters. This course spreads around the historical heart of the resort and is the perfect complement to The Atlantic Course.

 

Quinta da Beloura Golf Club 18 holes 5878 metres Par 73

This is the Estoril Coast's newest course and the flat terrain makes this an enjoyable and not exhausting course. Designed by Rocky Roquemore, there are 6 lakes and 40,000 trees, so accuracy is key here. Excellent mountain views. Practice range, tuition.

 

Quinta da Marinha Oitavos Golf Club
Set amongst pine woods and reforested dunes, in an area of great natural beauty, Quinta da Marinha Oitavos Golfe lies within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Encompassing three distinct landscape forms --umbrella pine forests, dunes, and open, coastal transition areas, the course takes advantage of all three zones.

18 holes, 6014 metres, Par 71 :  This Robert Trent Jones designed course is set in a private estate of 110 hectares. It was the 1988 host of the Quinta da Marinha Ladies Masters (European Professional's Women's Circuit) and in 2002 was host to the Estoril Open (PGA Tour Event). It is wooded with pine trees, has flat terrain, many bunkers and a number of lakes.

Estoril Golf Club

The Estoril Golf Course is located in one of Europe's oldest established tourist resorts. West of Lisbon and overlooking the Atlantic, the Estoril Coast has a mild climate, so that you can enjoy your favourite sport all year round. Overlooking Estoril and the sea, the 5,262 metre-long course is set amongst eucalyptus, pine and mimosa trees, giving it a uniquely colourful touc.
