Welcome to our new build 2 bed apartment is in Armação de Péra, one of the prettiest fishing towns in the Algarve! A new build 2 bedroom air conditioned apartment which is located only a few minutes walk from Armação de Péra's beautiful golden beaches, its shops, bars and cafes etc; set right in the middle of the central Algarve

Our fourth floor 2 bedroom Apartment comes with a communal rooftop pool and a designated underground parking space.

The apartment is quite spacious, and easily accommodates up to six people comfortably. It has 2 air conditioned bedrooms, as well as a large air conditioned living room (with sofa bed). It also has a separate fully equipped kitchen and the balcony even comes with a built in BBQ. It's a perfect holiday home for families or couples or just groups of friends and you're just a few minutes from the two-mile long Praia Grande beach which has all the water sports and beach activities that you'd expect.

The beautiful Armacao de Pera beach and the resort's bars, cafes, restaurants and clubs, as well as all essential facilities such as ATMs, shops, supermarkets etc are all within a short walk of our 2 bedroom apartment.

For those into golf, there are plenty to choose from with over 20 courses with in half an hour of our apartment. (See our "Golf Courses" page)

For those with children to entertain; there is plenty to choose from with the Dolphin's at Zoo Marine and the Slide & Splash water park a mere 10 minutes away. (See our "Things to do" pages for more information)

 

Details of our apartment in Armação de Péra

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with 2 x twin beds.

Bedroom 2 with 2 x twin beds.

Both bedrooms have air conditioning, Bedroom 1 has a built in wardrobe and a safe for your extra security.  Also, a pull out sofa bed is available and other options can be provided on request.

Bathroom: Fully-tiled bathroom for the main property with bath, shower, WC, bidet and sink.

Kitchen: Fully-fitted kitchen with all mod cons including:- cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, iron/ironing board, and all crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment necessary to cater for a large family.

Living Room: There is a large, luxurious living room (with Air conditioning), it has patio doors onto the balcony where you will find the built in BBQ and patio furniture. In the lounge, there is an extendible dining table (which seats 6), 2 sofas (1 of which is a sofa bed), a flat screen TV and a DVD player with a selection of DVD's for your enjoyment. There is also an IPod charger with speakers so you can play your own music.

Other: Underground secure garage. Rooftop terrace with communal swimming pool (some sun loungers and deck chairs are kept in the apartment), The pool area also has a shower area and bathroom facilities.

Location

Armação de Péra is just left of the centre of Algarve, a little west of Albufeira (about 10k). It was originally a small fishing village where tuna used to be caught and brought up onto "Fisherman's Beach". The net that the fishermen used to catch the Tuna in was called "Armação" and as it is very close to "Péra", it became Armação de Péra. The resort boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve with pretty coves around the coastline, the beach is one of the longest in the Algarve creating a haven for sun lovers, and the 'town' stretch is popular with the locals, who arrive in numbers at the end of a working day, and also with the Portuguese of Lisbon who flock there in their droves in the Summer months. The beach has ample parking space and Armação de Péra has beaches that are accessible to disabled people as the beaches have ramps and paths that reach the sand as well as disabled toilets. Praia da Armação de Péra beach is popular and has lifeguards during the summer season time

Salgados Golf Course

Situated close to the sea, Salgados and its lakes pose a real challenge to the technical skills of a golfer. This proximity to the sea and the variety of lakes make this a very interesting golfing test, different to the other courses in the Algarve. The course, a links with many water hazards, is not very long, yet you will need all your short-iron skills to reach the greens.

Pestana Vale da Pinta Golf Course

Situated near Carvoeiro in an old olive grove, Vale da Pinta is a championship course which is, nevertheless, adaptable to all playing levels. Designed by Ronald Fream, who, true to North American golfing concepts, created wide, deep greens protected by 59 similarly sized bunkers.

Alto Golf – Alvor 

Alto Golf is situated near the picturesque village of Alvor, its former beauty enhanced by the fabulous white sandy beaches, crystal blue sea and striking cliffs of the coast. It reflects Sir Henry Cotton's philosophy that a golf course should constitute a good test not only for low handicap players, but also provide an agreeable game for less blessed players. After his death, the project was continued by Peter Dobereiner.

Gramacho Golf Course

With just nine holes, Gramacho has a complete course layout, thanks to its double tees and greens. The natural vegetation blends perfectly with a number of lakes and gently sloping fairways which wind through almond groves and olive and fig trees.

Penina Golf Resort
The Penina Championship Course is the most brilliant of Sir Henry Cotton's designs. The triple winner of the British open, later a course designer, was one of the first to recognise the Algarve's enormous potential as a golfing paradise. The quality and success of the Penina course encourages the construction of many other courses in the Algarve.
