Golf Omaha Beach 36 holes
The Omaha Beach Golf was created in 1986 by Guy Dupont and designed by Yves Bureau, who has many golf courses in France and abroad to his credit. It is located on the coast near Bayeuxa nd only a few kilometres away from theD-Day Landing Beaches and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-mer. The 36 holes show two very different aspects of the beautiful local scenery. Views of the sea from the Club House out to the 6th hole, whose green overhangs the port of Port en Bessin, and the last 9 holes give typical scenery of the Normandy countryside with its green meadows bordered by hedges.
Golf de Caen 27 holes
Created in 1990, Caen Golf Course has 27 holes. The 18 hole "plain-valley" course with its 6155 metres is testing if you are open to the wind. The first two holes are tricky by being both narrow tree-lined water holes. You will pay heavily if you are too ambitious or off line. Several difficult Par four's follow of more than 400 metres.
