The Atlantic Course at Castro Marim just over the Portuguese border from Spain has spectacular views of the Algarvian Mountains, the Atlantic Ocean, the Guadiana River and the Castro Marim nature reserve. Quinta Ria 18 holes Par 72 6016 meters
This spectacular 18 hole golf course is in the Ria Formosa Natural Park and spreads along an gently undulating piece of prime golfing land down to the Ria Formosa itself and with a stunning view of the sea.
It is a par 72, comprising two loops of 9 holes with each loop having 2 par 5's, five par 4's and two par 3's. The total length is 6016 metres. Five lakes were strategically built around the course, near greens 5, 10 and 14. Hole 16, a par 5, is played between the two biggest lakes. The green of the par 3 17th also brings one the lakes into play and also has an island where local bird-life nests. Besides the beauty the lakes bring to the course, they are also used as water reservoirs for irrigation and are nourished by a stream, in play on some holes.

Quinta de Cima 18 holes Par 72 6256 meters
With 18 holes skilfully designed over an area of 620.000 m2, the Quinta da Cima Course is a great test of golf with dog-legs to the right and left and greens well protected by bunkers and lakes. A stream with dams and permanent flowing water crosses holes 4, 5, 6 and 13. The whole area is blessed with a profound sense of peace. From any point on the course the views of the sea and the mountains are a delight to anyone's eyes. Century-old olive and carob trees and the typical orange groves provide a truly secluded feel to this wonderful course.

Islacanela 18 holes Par 72 6248 meters
The course at Isla Canela has been carefully integrated with surrounding coastal features; winding through an area of tidal salt marsh, you will find the course not only an enjoyable golfing challenge, but also a fascinating nature walk! The course is largely flat, so will provide a leisurely walk for those who prefer not to slog up hill and down dale, yet also provides the longest piece of golf terrain in the area.
