In splendid and spectacular scenery the magic 18-hole golf course “ Golf Country Club Castello di Spessa “ winds along the Castle park. The course offers varied scenic views, which also differ in the layout of the fairways, so that the golfer is under the impression of playing on three different courses.

 

The driving range, unique for its beauty, faces the Castle among artificial water ponds crossing the track and a lush vegetation, both giving the course an “old time” charm.

 

The Castle of Spessa

The origins of the Castle of Spessa date back to 1200. Ever since a succession of noble people and illustrious personalities, among them Giacomo Casanova, have marked the Castle' history and its vocation for hospitality, primarily made for by its 15 bedrooms/suites.

 

The manor rooms and the guest quarters represent a prefect setting for banquets and ceremonies, in particular weddings, during which the adjoining neo-gothic chapel can be put at the guest' disposal. Upon reservation it is also possible to visit the medieval ageing cellars. The Castle annex houses a congress room for over 100 people. In the next-door shop you can by the wines produced by the “Castle of Spessa” and “La Boatina”, the spirits by “De Mezzo”, as well as typical local products."

 

Clubhouse
Inaugurated in 2005, after a restructuring, enhanced furnishings and enriched by its special nature of golf, the clubhouse is the centre of the circle and social life of the club and 'the place where you meet all the members who, after a long day of sport, have the pleasure to spend time together enjoying the delicious specialities of the adjacent "Food & Wines" accompanied by Leit - Motiv Hills of wine.

 

Tavernetta

At the foot of Castle di Spessa, you will find the former local tustic tavern. The tavern has been converted , with an excellent restaurant and 10 rooms in a country chic atmosphere, with breathtaking views from terraces of the placid on the green and hilly landscape, which invites the visitor to a holiday of wine and food, sports and relaxation.

 

The environment recreates the traditional atmosphere of the old country houses and stands for elegance and hospitality. The restaurant offers fine dining, strictly seasonal, with particular attention to fish that arrives fresh every day on the table from the nearby Adriatic.
