Golf nearby:
Royal Cromer Golf Club
It is essentially cliff top in character with spectacular views and boasts all the features of a coastal course with a wealth of sandy hills, grassy valleys and abundant gorse and bracken. The signature hole, the 14th, has a fully operational lighthouse making it most attractive, but don’t be fooled by the scenery as it’s one of the trickiest holes on the course .
Sheringham Golf Club
Sheringham Golf Club is wedged between the cliffs and the preserved North Norfolk Railway Line, and is a golfing institution where little has changed over the past century. The 6,456 yard layout has a demanding par of 70, and is known particularly for the ferocity of its par 4s. These holes are the key to manufacturing a good score, but with the wind invariably blowing hard, that is easier said than done.
