Golf
Gog Magog
At 6398 Yards off the whites, the Old Course is more a test of accuracy than strength, although stamina is a useful asset as you climb the hills. Reaching the green in regulation is seldom a guarantee of a Par as a downhill putt when the greens are dry can be an unnerving experience. An Old Course Par 3 is not always an easy scoring opportunity as they tend to have high stroke indices.

Stowmarket Golf Course
Measuring 6105 yards from the tee on the first hole all the way to the pin on the eighteenth, the course at Stowmarket Golf Club is a fair length and, similarly, provides a fair test of golf to any player, whether high or low handicapper. Indeed, beginner and improver alike will love the tests offered by the course, which has some tight, narrow fairways and greens guarded by well-placed bunkers.
