L-m-ents offers you as fully catered Chalet style holiday as you want. Situated on the Atlantic Coast, in South West France, 5 minutes from the spectacular beaches of Hossegor, Capbreton and Seignosse and being only 20 minutes from Biarritz airport, 1 hour from Pau International Airport, and 1 1/2 hours from Bordeaux International Airport we are easy to get to without large traveling times.

Les Chenes has five twin bedrooms all on the first floor, all of which can be made into doubles. Two of the rooms can also be made into triples. All the rooms are bright and newly decorated with modern en-suite shower rooms and a safe for you to place any valuables in.

We have a spacious living room which looks out onto our beautiful garden, terrace and pergola, within which there is a dining area, which is a great place to enjoy the barbeque evenings while surrounded by fragrant plants and flowers.

The living room has large comfortable sofas and chairs; we have a vast selection of music, videos and DVDs for your entertainment as well as satellite channels. We also have access to the internet.

Our dining room, which comfortably seats twelve, has a big central table, ideal for lively and animated conversations! There is a magnificent fire place and original beautiful wooden floors.

Within the house we also have a room with up to date, cardiovascular exercise equipment and some free weights. Your live in hosts, are both fully qualified sports therapists and sports masseurs, with well over 20 years experience between them and who also offer relaxing massage, lymphatic drainage, reflexology and shiatsu. What an ideal way to unwind after a hard day at the beach or golf course!

The house is a non smoking house and this also includes no smoking in the bathrooms and bedrooms, therefore we do ask all of our guests to smoke outside in the garden. Sorry but we also have a no pets policy

Asides from the fabulous beaches there are also miles of beautiful pine forests, ideal for cycling, walking and nature watching. In the Aquitaine area there are 45 golf courses, and green fees are generally speaking very reasonable with five day and weekend passes available.  Please ask us for details.

Golf nearby:

Golf d’Hossegor, created in 1930, this is one of the most beautiful courses in France. Every hole is lined on both sides by a variety of trees. The greens are of the best quality, though some players have found this course a bit monotonous. Staff tend to be on the unhelpful side here which badly lets down the golf club. You will need your handicap card to play here! Par 71, 6004 m.

Golf de Seignosse, rated best course in France by British golf tour operators and 15th best in Europe by Golf World magazine, Seignosse is a famous modern masterpiece. Loved by all who play it, it threads its way through pine trees and cork oaks, over steeply undulating terrain and daunting water hazards. Rolling fairways and sand traps and water hazards. The staff here are more than helpful making it a delightful experience. Par 72, 6129 m

Golf d’Arcangues, provides fantastic views of the Basque countryside and over the Pyrenees. It is partly wooded and partly in the open. Bunkers and greens require a lot of careful thought and greens demand precision. It is a very technical course. Everyone who has stayed with us and who has played this course has loved it and found it a good work out as well as very charming.  Par 72, 6142 m.

Golf de Bassussary, minutes from Bayonne, it is lined by magnificent old oaks and designed within vast parks, with wide fairways and holes that all vary greatly from one another. Wooded and undulating, it allows golfers of all levels a chance to relax and enjoy their game. It is a good test for the better player. Hazards are all well marked, strategy is obvious and difficulties are evenly spread around the course. It is well maintained. Par 72, 6176 m.

Biarritz Le Phare, this is the second oldest in France, built in 1888. The course extends over 30 hectares and has 70 bunkers. It has very high quality greens. Located near the centre of Biarritz. It is a very spectacular course, though some of our guests have found it slightly confusing as holes are not well marked.  Par 69, 5402 m.

The Ilbarritz international golf training centre, minutes from Biarritz, overlooking the Ocean, here they have revolutionised the art of learning and training for golf. The 17 acres of circular practice range set in parkland regroup 13 work spots according to theme and level of difficulty. It also has a 9 hole course.

Golf Chiberta, Anglet, an international course, designed in 1926, is rated among the top 10 in France. It is by the sea, in a forest and by a lake.  There is also a 9 hole course which is excellent for beginners and golfers of all levels. Designed by Tom Simpson. Par 70, 5901 m.

Golf de Moliets, a remarkable course laid out in the pine forests of Les Landes and along the beach. Both technical and strategic, proficient golfers will find it a challenge; jagged bunkers are a remarkable form of defence for the greens, and putting surfaces are contoured. Fairways are closely clipped; speeding up the game, this course has been selected by the European Tour to host the qualifying cards. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Desing. Par 72, 6173 m
