Domaine de "GASTELHUR" Arcangues

Set in large grounds of gardens and trees and next to Arcangues golf course only 5 minutes from Biarritz you will find the Domaine de Gastelhur, bed and breakfast.   Originally a large bourgeois house, Agnes and Miguel Lagrolet welcome you to their bed and breakfast with three large rooms, all restored sympathetically and I its original style. 

Close to many centres of interest such as the beaches of the Atlantic coast, Biarritz just 5 kilometres away with its famous beaches, thermal spas and casino.  Saint Jean de Luz 15 kilometres with its port and marina, and Spain just  a few kilometres away. 

Three ensuite rooms all with magnificent views of the grounds, breakfast served in the dining room or on the terrace.  A reading room and guest lounge.  Guests are able to wander through the large grounds.

Golf Arcangues
The 72 par course, designed by the American architect Ronald Fream, spreading over 198 acres of oak trees and meadows around the village and the Chateau, winds away from the clubhouse to the South before curving to the North around the chateau before reappearing from the East to finish on the 18th just below the Clubhouse terrace.

Golf Biarritz Le Phare  Par 69 5402m
It looks like being an easy course, which does not require any important physical efforts, but it’s really not. Its difficulty lies in his technicality and it is not that easy to « score ». 70 bunkers are there to remind us, if necessary is, that golf is, above all, a reflection and shrewdness affair.

Makila
Situated just outside Bayonne, the Makila Golf Club Bayonne Bassussarry Pays Basque is a course open all year round with 18 holes par 72 over 6176 m.
Surrounded by beautiful oak trees and arranged in vast spaces, it offers large fairways and all the holes are different from one another.

The International Training Center and Golf Course of Ilbarritz
The various workstations of the Training Center allow complete training according to your desires or weaknesses. From the short game to full swing, on synthetic carpets or perfect grass, on flat or hilly lies, here, everything is conceived to work out every single aspect of the game. The impressive Ilbarritz Golf Course is a 9 holes golf course on the ocean, and facing the Spanish coast. It is a Par 32, of a 2176 meters length.

Chiberta Golf Course Anglet - 6215 yards par 70
Chiberta is one of the great French examples of a links course, designed by the legendary Tom Simpson. This course is one of the most rewarding courses in France, and provides a wonderful day of golf to all who play on it.  The original design has been preserved, although the wilder features have been smoothed away by automatic sprinklers and a number of 'improvements' that are not quite as inspired as we might have hoped.
