Whilst you enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside at Sobenkel, you can relax in the knowledge that you have all amenities on your doorstep.

You are only 20 kilometres north of Dublin City Centre, which is a shoppers' paradise, has many lively pubs and clubs and is steeped in culture and history. Beautiful beaches are only 2km away. We have more golf courses in the area than in the whole of Spain and have a castle or two just a stone's throw away.  Sobenkel is only a five-minute drive from the M1/M50. Dublin Airport is a ten-minute drive away. The bus stop for Dublin is 0.5km and the train station is 1.5km.

Our rental cottage sleeps four and is open all year round including Christmas and New Year and we are happy to accommodate you for as short as two nights in low season.

The Cottage
Make your Irish vacation a holiday to remember and enjoy your stay in our rental cottage.  The recently built cottage is adjacent to the owner's home, however, it is totally self-contained with it's own private patio/barbeque area.

The Island Golf Club
The Island Golf Club is one of Ireland's Premier Links Courses. A mere 15 minutes from Dublin Airport, this Championship Links Course is located across the estuary from Malahide, just North of Portmarnock.

Portmarnock Golf Club
Invariably rated as Ireland’s best course in ballots by the Irish Golf Institute, Portmarnock takes justifiable pride in its 27 holes, which are maintained to the highest standards. Within the curve of the coastline formed by Howth peninsula, it offers stunning views of Ireland’s Eye and Lambay Island, rising sharply from deep waters.

Deer Park Golf Club
In addition to the main 18 hole golf course, the Deer Park, there are two demanding 9 hole golf courses, the Grace O’Malley Course and the St Fintan’s Course, which can be played as 18 holes. There is also a full length 12 hole Par 3 golf course and an 18 hole Pitch and Putt course.

Malahide Golf Club
The golf course offers 27 holes of varying challenges, created by the combination of water hazards, trees and raised greens on all three nines.

Skerries Golf Club
This 18 hole parkland course with undulating fairways and mature trees provides a magnificent panorama of sea and land extending from the Mourne Mountains to Howth and the Wicklow Mountains

Baltray Co Louth Golf Club
County Louth Golf Club or "Baltray" as it is more affectionately known is situated 4 miles from the historic town of Drogheda. This is Links golf at is very best, with only the muted murmur of a ships engine to break the sounds of nature, as it quietly wends its way up river to the port.

Royal Dublin Golf Course
Renowned course architect Martin Hawtree was engaged by the members to update the Holt design. Hawtree has lengthened the course, adding 18 new raised and contoured greens, and transformed sections of the course.  Royal Dublin is a sterling test of all golfing skills - ball striking and course management.
