This is the ideal venue for such occasions as a family reunion or when attending a wedding locally and transport to and from same can be arranged. From action-packed activities to a quiet, relaxing and leisurely time, Fanningstown House has a lot to offer. The house is set adjoining a working dairy farm, where you can watch proceedings by prior arrangement, if you so wish.
Fanningstown House has achieved the highest quality and grading standards set by Fáilte Ireland - the Irish Tourist Board and is regularly inspected to ensure that these standards are maintained - your assurance of quality accommodation for your stay.
The property is a large, spacious, two storey house, which sleeps ten people. The large entrance hall, with impressive stairs, leads to four bedrooms. Two bedrooms are en suite with walk in wardrobes and a reading area. All rooms have multi channel television and internet access. Downstairs is a bedroom, bathroom, large kitchen / dining area, a formal dining room and a relaxing sitting room with access to the conservatory and french doors leading to the patio area.

In the picturesque town of Adare itself, with its sophisticated shops and restaurants, such as The Gift Box, Lucy Erridge and Stacpoole Antiques, the avid shopper is well catered for, whilst The Blue Door, The Wild Geese, The Arches and Cafe Bia, together with the charm of the Dunraven Arms Hotel, Adare Manor Hotel and Golf resort and the Woodlands House Hotel - which has recently added a sophisticated new spa facility - all offer great choices.
Adare has two superb golf courses and the world-famous Ballybunion Golf Course is only an hour's drive away. An excellent Pitch & Putt course is also located in Adare.
Adare Manor Golf Club
The club has a proud tradition of hospitality and friendliness. The 18-hole parkland golf course provides an historic Irish golfing experience. The Desmond Castle (1200 ad) is a magnificent backdrop to the 1st and 15th greens, while the ruins of the Franciscan Abbey (1464 ad) dominate the centre of the course. Golfing societies and all visitors are very welcome, and will find the tree-lined fairways a serious golfing challenge!

The Adare Golf Club is an 18 hole championship golf course which opened in 1995 and is set on the 840 acre estate of Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort in Co. Limerick, Ireland. This was the last major golf course designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Senior. This majestic design has gained international acclaim as one of his finest creations.
Adare Pitch & Putt course
Adare Pitch & Putt course is great for those wishing to improve their short game or just have fun. Located in the village, the course is open to both young and old. Equipment available for rent.
Ballybunion Golf Club
Old and Cashen courses are bordered by the Atlantic Ocean & overlooking the mouth of the Shannon Estuary. It is one of the finest stretches of dune and links land to be found anywhere in the world. A truly fine links course which will test the best.
