For the outdoor enthusiast, Kenmare offers a wide variety of activities:
Cycling: Bicycles can be hired locally.
Walking: Within easy reach of Kenmare are the uncrowded hills of Cork and Kerry. Watersports: Swimming, boating, canoeing, water skiing, windsurfing and sailing. Fishing: The best of river and sea fishing.

Golf: Kenmare has its own 18-hole golf course, also a 9-hole Pitch and Putt course.

The views over Kenmare bay and the surrounding mountains take one’s breath away.  The course has some great feature holes and is always in first class condition which are all the ingredients for a wonderful round of golf.

The Ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club is located amidst the most stunning scenery imaginable. Overlooking beautiful and serene Kenmare Bay with the Kerry mountains providing a wonderful backdrop, the setting is surely one of the best in Ireland. The course itself, 6814 yds from the medal tees, is hilly with dramatic elevation changes and a challenging layout. Lakes abound ready to catch your errant ball, should you be distracted from your shot by the surrounding views.  Ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club is a beautifully-designed course set amidst unbelievable scenery, where every hole is memorable.
