Killorglin is famous for holding Irelands Oldest Festival Puck Fair on 10-12th August each year, which attracts thousands of visitors from all over Ireland and abroad. Our local market on Thursdays and Fridays provides a myriad selection of local produce, while our local craft shops offer items such as Louis Mulcahy Pottery. There is a childrens playground & town park close by as well as a bureau de change, a launderette, a supermarket, churches, cash point, library and several great pubs and restaurants.
We will be happy to organise taxi and bus tours for you. If you enjoy a few hours on the fairway, then why not pop down the road (1 mile) to Killorglin Golf Club or just 7 miles to Dooks Links Course. Rossbeigh Beach is 9 miles from Killorglin and Kells beach is a further 4 miles. You can also spend an afternoon in Cromane fishing village which is 5 miles from Killorglin. If the outdoors is your thing then a trip to Cappanalea Outdoor Centre (6 miles) at Caragh Lake or the Burkes Activity Centre in Rossbeigh are a must. Being in Killorglin we are surrounded in history; the Ogham Stones of the Gap of Dunloe are 8 miles east, and the Cahirciveen Ring Forts and access to Skellig Rock are 24 miles along the Ring of Kerry road. There is an abundance of fishing in the area both on the River Laune which runs through the town and on Caragh Lake.

Killorglin Golf Club
An 18 hole parkland course, Par 72, at amazing value. Designed by Eddie Hackett, Irelands foremost golf architect of his generation. The course on the one hand is overshadowed by the majestic Macgillicuddy Reeks Mountain Range (including Carrauntouhill, Ireland's highest mountain) and on the other it enjoys magnificent panoramic views of Dingle Bay and the Slieve Mish Range beyond.
Dooks Golf Club
The Course is now nearly 6600 yards from the back tees but don't be over ambitious the course from the White tees which even though short by modern standards, will test every club in the bag and that's on a calm day! If there is even a "gentle" Atlantic breeze. Dooks is a place where every par feels like a birdie, but irrespective of the conditions or what you score, the stunning panoramic views will remain in the menory.
Killarney Golf Club
With 3 Championship courses the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club can offer 3 totally unique options and challenges to the golfer.
Mahony's Point the shortest of our three courses at 6,800 yards is a lakeside course with spectacular views
Lackabane, which opened for play in 1999 is a Parkland course providing an excellent golfing challenge with enough water hazards that add both beauty and danger in equal measure.
Killeen, the jewel in the crown, re-opened in 2006 offering both spectacular lakeside scenery and also challenging golf to long hitters with water features on nearly every hole and fast greens
Tralee Golf Club
Designed and built by Arnold Palmer, this stunning setting represents a true paradise for those willing to challenge what is widely acclaimed as one of the finest links courses in the world. Smitten at first sight, Palmer would later go on record with this memorable quote: “I may have designed the first nine, but surely God designed the back nine”. It comes as no surprise to learn that, due to the majestic beauty of this setting, Palmer choose it to be his first and, arguably, his finest golf course in Europe
