Located in a private, quiet spot in the heritage town of Ardara, Co.Donegal, Secret Cottage is convenient for shops, pubs and restaurants. Need a pint a milk? A bottle of wine? Its just one minutes walk. Dont want to drive to the pub or, more to the point, drive back? You dont have to.

It is also convenient for spectacular Donegal scenery and beaches which can be reached easily by car.

 

The cottage is brand new and has an airy spacious feel and modern open plan layout. You can expect all the Swell touches - the great mattresses, the wonderful showers, top drawer appliances and beautiful interior design.

 

Secret Cottage sleeps 2 adults in a kingsize (5ft) bed. In addition to the master bedroom, there is an ensuite shower room with a drenching shower a fabulous open plan kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher, wine cooler, oven and ceramic hob. There is even a gorgeous retro Smeg fridge. The living area has an open fire, flat screen TV, DVD and stereo system. The cottage rental includes high quality linen and towels, all curtains are handmade and interlined and everything for a wonderful stay is provided for. We can also arrange catering including delicious cosy Irish suppers. Please note, notice is essential for any catering services.

 

The Cottage has its own private access and can be rented for two people or rented in conjunction with Gatsby House which is next door and sleeps 10.

 

Secret Cottage is set in the heart of the heritage town of Ardara, Co.Donegal. The town has bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance, including the iconic Nancy's Bar, a must for any visitor to Co.Donegal. Live Irish music can often be heard at the Corner Bar and there are three supermarkets within walking distance. The Nesbitt Arms Hotel has a popular Bistro and there is fine dining available at the Woodhill House, just outside Ardara.

 

This cottage would suit those who wish to have a characterful and comfortable place to stay within walking distance of amenities. If you prefer not to have to drive everywhere this is an excellent choice. If you are looking for an old or secluded Irish cottage then Honey Cottage may be more suitable.
