Gather your friends, gather your family and enjoy this brand new Irish classic. Gatsby House is a fabulous place to come and relax for a few days or even longer if you cannot, understandably, drag yourself way.

 

Built in the 1870s, the house was fully restored by the Swell duo in 2007 and sleeps ten people in five gorgeous bedrooms, all with their own beautiful private bathroom. Gatsby House has the best of everything – Ralph Lauren furniture, flat screen televisions in all bedrooms, heavenly cloud beds in all rooms, Vera Wang china and luxurious drenching showers. Gatsby House is decorated in a palette of colours which reflect in the Donegal landscape – Muted heathers, soft greens and teal blues combine to form a haven of cosy glamour and stunning luxury.

 

All our rooms have our cloud beds to ensure a superb night's sleep, goose feather bedding and White Company Linen. All rooms are supplied with luxury bathrobes and towels as used in some

Royal households. All have hair dryers.

Kitchen with fridge/freezer, range oven, granite worktops through to separate washing up area with two dishwashers leading to laundry room with two washing machines and two tumble dryers.

Gatsby House is furnished with the best of everything and not suitable for stag nights or hen parties. All rooms involve stairs and so those with restricted mobility would find this difficult. Large walk-in showers are available in all rooms but there is only one room with a bath. The Rita Hayworth and Grace Kelly rooms both face the street and would be subject to normal street noise; the other three rooms are quieter. The property is suited to considerate guests who appreciate glamour, style and comfort and who are able to relax and enjoy themselves.

 

Gatsby House is set in the heart of the heritage town of Ardara, Co.Donegal. The town has bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance, including the iconic Nancy's Bar, a must for any visitor to Co.Donegal. Live Irish music can often be heard at the Corner Bar and there are three supermarkets within walking distance. The Nesbitt Arms Hotel has a popular Bistro and there is fine dining available at the Woodhill House, just outside Ardara.

Narin and Portnoo Golf Club

Narin and Portnoo Golf Club, is situated in a beautiful seaside resort in southwest Donegal. It is considered one of the finest natural and scenic 18-hole links courses in Ireland, with sweeping views of Gweebarra Bay Opened in 1930, it is engagingly old-fashioned, with a meandering routing over and around the dunes. The course has recently been re-developed and the new par 73 layout offers a range of teeing areas and challenges to suit all golfers.
