The Closerie was built during the 18th and 19th centuries and has just been renovated. We offer two suites and one junior suite in the main mansion and two junior suites and two smaller apartments in the adjascent country home. Each refined and designed accommodation is with private bathroom and toilets, high quality bedding, WiFi internet connection and flat screen TV set.

 

The ground floor of the mansion invites you to a spacious lounge with an old decorated fire place nice to lay by while reading a book from our library and enjoy a warm fire. You can then take the time to appreciate the Norman charm. You will enjoy this ideally located spot in the famous Pays d’Auge between Honfleur, Trouville, Lisieux and Pont-L’Evêque together with many other advantages

The mansion suites : They are all located on the first and second floors of the mansion and offers a wonderful view over the countryside and surrounding woods. They are spacious and seducing to those who love harmony, quietness and well-being.

The country house junior suites : They are located on the first floor of the semi-detached country house. The two junior suites have recently been renovated in an authentic atmosphere.

The country house gîtes : These two little gîtes are located on the ground floor of the country house and both have access to private, independent and designed gardens. Quietness and authenticity lovers will find them very attractive.

Less than two hours away from Paris, La Closerie des Millets is ideally located in the heart of the Pays d’Auge between Honfleur (30 minutes), Deauville and Trouville (15 minutes), the Lisieux basilica (20 minutes), and Pont l’Evêque (10 minutes). Many paths for walks and hikes from the Closerie lead you to the beaches of Deauville, Trouville, Benerville, and Villers and to a big amusement park, a unique attraction in Europe with a large variety of activities. For the most daring of you, a EIA ring for kart challenges or dream car experience.

 

For the adventure-minded, paint-ball and tree-path are available in Saint-Arnould. Sporties will also appreciate heated sea water swimming pool open all year in Deauville or tennis courts in Blangy-Le-Château. Golf lovers will meet on the green in Saint Julien (10 minutes). New Golf Deauville 15kms
27 Holes of superb parkland golf and ranked in Normandy's top 3. Originally designed by Tom Simpson with Henry Cotton adding the Blue nine. Stunning views across the Channel. Not easy to book on weekends in main season.

Amiraute Golf Course 12kms
Built on a former stud farm this 18 hole 9 (6055m-par 73) course has real champioship potential as well as some challenging water obstacles. With 7 Floodlit holes the course is unique in Europe while the 17 ornamental statues add a cultural aspect.

St Gatien Golf Course 18kms
This friendly parkland course is located on highland looking out over the Le Havre Estuary. It's a picturesque layout with 5 or 6 hilly holes, generous fairways and the best clubhouse ambience in the area. We highly recommend the buffet lunch!
