Le Clos du Men Allen Erdeven invites you to discover its 5 ensuite rooms, its swimming pool and discover the Morbihan in Southern Brittany and its relaxing coast and beaches. For a week or a weekend, an ideal place to discover the resorts of Carnac and Quiberon.

 

In the centre of Erdeven, this old house has been in the family for three generations. It owes its name to the use of "salt rocks" that the farmers gave to their animals at the time.

 

After having been completely restored in 2007 by Clotilde and Janine, the current owners, it is now a friendly space with 5 bedrooms fitted out in a soothing, natural spirit, marrying the charm of age-old stones and modern comforts to ensure you have a pleasant stay.

 

Encircled by stone walls, a wrought iron gate provides access to the grounds and the car park that are at your disposal.

 

The house is South-facing and on this side there is the lounge the dining room on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs. To the East there are 2 other bedrooms, including one on the ground floor suitable for guests of reduced mobility. It is fitted out with the family furniture and mottled, personalised antique objects.

 

A spacious lounge is provided to allow you to enjoy your moments of relaxation. Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the terraces either on the courtyard side or on the garden side. At the back of the house, in a space surrounded by stone walls, the heated swimming pool is available from May to September. A poolside terrace allows you to take full advantage of the sun in complete tranquillity.

 

Our Rooms: All have ensuite bathrooms with double washbasins, shower or bath areas, and toilets. Bath products are provided. Televisions are available in every room.

The REVES EN LIBERTE room, located on the ground floor, can accommodate persons of reduced mobility and has two 90 x 200 beds that can be fitted with specialised equipment. The bathroom has an Italian style shower and separate individual toilets.
 

The DUNE room: The fine sand on Kerhilio beach with the dunes covered with beachgrass swaying in the wind from the nearby Atlantic Ocean, inspires this space. A bathroom with a comfortable bath awaits you.

The HERMINE room: In our area, we harbour a strong sense of pride in Brittany and its white ermine, and the decor in this room will fill you with the freshness of the Breton spirit that has always inspired our culture.

 

The CHAMBRE DE LEA room: Léa was the name of the last occupant. She wore the lace regional headdress or "coiffe" and the dress and embroidered apron on important feast days. In a space where you will be able to relax and imagine her, reading her newspaper, or working with her needle on Sunday afternoons at the quiet time of the siesta.

 
FLEURS DE BAGATELLE: Where would we be without flowers: little insignificant flowers, flowers from the garden, flowers from the fields, flowers full of inspiration. Our microclimate allows us boundless audacity: gorse bushes, heathland, beds of hydrangeas, azaleas or roses…

ERDEVEN, between CARNAC - QUIBERON and the magnificent Ria d’Etel, 9 kms from Auray, offers you a holiday in a very special environment. Our microclimate allows you to discover Brittany at every time of the year. Erdeven has its fair share of cultural heritage: high place of megaliths with its menhirs (standing stones), dolmens (table stones), and other Cromlech (stone circles). The dunes are protected and maintained in their natural state ensuring an authentic landscape.

Its long fine sand beach Kerhilio, only 5 min away, allows you to swim in complete safety in the summer season, (naturism on Kerminihy beach). With the invigorating air from the Atlantic Ocean, sports such as sailing, surfing, sand yachting, and coastal fishing are within easy reach to occupy your leisure time. Signposted walks, mountain bike trails, tennis courts, squash courts, the Saint-Laurent international golf course will ensure you have an extra special holiday. You will love its superb layout (designed by the architect Michael Fenn) and the quality of its upkeep (verdant greens, flowers planted at the tees, lack of undergrowth). It was the venue for the French Pro Championships in 1988 and 1989 and the Omnium National in 1995. The 9-hole course designed by Yves Bureau is suitable for players of all standards. 5819 m, Par 72. A golf course where you can smell the sea air. Experienced golfers and beginners alike will enjoy playing on the particularly wide greens of this sea-side course where the fairways cross heather moorland on the edge of the sea.
