The hotel is located in Palenge, 2-3 kilometres away from Durbuy and the Ourthe valley.   Palenge is a charming small village of 200 inhabitants nestled deep in the countryside and surrounded by forests. A true dream for hikers and nature lovers alike.  Easy access by road or train. The transfer from the station of Bomal-sur-Ourthe to the hotel is free of charge.  The hotel has easy parking, a playground and large lawn.

Rooms

The large room is more spacious than the standard room but with the same comfort: a bathroom with either a shower or bathtub, a small sitting area in the bedroom, telephone, TV and a radio alarm clock.  This type of room is suggested for an extensive stay.

Standard Rooms
Charming small rooms with bathrooms, shower, W.C, washbasin, TV, telephone, radio alarm clock and armchairs.

Since the end June 2006 5 new rooms:
3 rooms on the first floor with terrace, 2 rooms on the second floor
mansard-roofed very charming.

Aparthotels
Five aparthotels are at your disposal in the same building as the other rooms and with the same hotel service amenities. Four spacious apartments with a double room, a sitting room with a double hide-a-bed, telephone, TV, a dining corner, kitchenette and a bathroom with a bathtub.

One large apartment with two bedrooms, a double one and one with both a double bed and a single bed, a sitting room with a sofa bed, the telephone, a TV, a dining corner, kitchenette and a bathroom with a bathtub.  This type of accommodation is ideal for a family or between friends, for 2 to 7 persons.

Restaurant
A pleasant restaurant with an open fireplace, air conditioning with large bay windows overlooking the terrace.

What to do ?

Strolls: Besides the must-see visit to Durbuy, a small medieval town with museums and cultural events, many other activities are proposed.  There are some wonderful strolls to be done all round the hotel. Detailed maps are available on site.

Bikes and Motorbikes

Great riding in the whereabouts of the hotel. Maps are available on site and there are numerous marked routes.  A closed garage is at your disposal at the hotel .
 
Riding: Just 4 km away there is the Trois Provinces riding-school in Petite Somme.

Kayaking: Kayaking on the Ourthe river, 3 km away from the hotel

Other sport activities such as quad riding, climbing, paint-ball etc are also possible.

Golf nearby: The hotel is located between two golf courses.

Durbuy Golf Course
The course was designed by Hawtree & Sons and Capart (1991). The result is a thrilling ride on a rollercoaster of golf that will have you lost for words and gasping in wonder! It seems almost impossible to have a golf course here, and yet the course offers a tough and magical challenge for anyone who wants golf that thrills and delights and yet is a brilliant challenge for all levels of golfers. Though above the 30 handicap could have a nightmarish time on this course!

Five Nations Golf Club
The Five Nations Golf Course was designed in the early 90's by the legendary Gary Player. He created a challenging, surprising and most important of all a very beautiful par 72 golf course in the hilly Belgium landscape.  The incredible location on the hilly foot of the Ardennes offers a special challenge to players of all levels. De course is known for the difficult and spectacular holes and the views of up to 40 kilometres. The quality of the fairways and the greens is a relief to those used to trampled, busy courses.
