Villa Las Dunas is a small, modern family run guesthouse located in the coastal area of El Medano in the south of Tenerife. The villa is situated in a complex of around 10 villas some residential and some holiday villas. The villa offers quality accommodation and privacy in beautiful surroundings.

We have 4 twin rooms with superb views across the ocean (we are only 200 m from the sea!) or mountain views. We think the villa has everything you could need for a super holiday and more. We will do everything we can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

The Villa is located on the coast around 15 minutes walk from the town centre of El Medano. El Medano is a lively, friendly village which boasts lots of bars and restaurants all on the sea front or around the village square. The beach in El Medano is said to be the longest in Tenerife at 2km, the water is shallow and ideal for families and sun seekers. El Medano is typically canarian and quite unlike some of the resorts you would normally associate with Tenerife. Its fair to say when in El Medano you could be anywhere in the world!

El Medano is a haven for many sports enthusiasts, the villa is situated in an ideal location for kitesurfing, windsurfing, mountain biking and hiking etc and Nigel and Jill can give information on these sports and the hire of equipment. There is also free storage for the equipment. If you prefer to chill out then the heated pool is the ideal place and is never crowded.

Car hire is not necessary for an enjoyable stay, however to see the real beauty and variety that Tenerife offers, a drive out of the resort to explore the rest of the island is definitely recommended. Hire cars are available directly from the guesthouse.  The owners Nigel and Jill have holidayed and lived in El Medano for several years before opening the guesthouse.

Only 15 minutes from Sur Reina Sofia airport - TFS (Aeropuerto de Tenerife Sur).  The villa is located on the coast with beautiful ocean and mountain views.  El Medano town is just 10 minutes walk away. El Medano is a lively, friendly town with a great ‘off the beaten track’ atmosphere. Tapas Bars and restaurants line the village square and the seafront and cater for all tastes and wallets. The villa is part of a private complex of ten. The shared pool is at the heart of the complex.

The rooms :  We have 4 lovely twin rooms, each is en-suite: 2 x sea view (with balcony) : 2 x mountain view (Juliet balcony): Each room will accommodate 2 adults. Mountain view rooms will accommodate a travel cot or a small guest bed (at no extra cost).  Bed linen, Towels and beach towels are provided and are changed weekly.

Each room has its own fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
We provide a complementary welcome basket.

Full cooked and continental breakfast is included in the room rate and served on our terrace overlooking the sea.

Prices
Rooms are priced at 50 euros per night per room including breakfast served on our terrace overlooking the ocean.  All rooms are twin rooms. The mountain view rooms will accommodate a travel cot for small children at no extra cost.

Golf Del Sur
Golf del Sur opened in 1987 and has been host to a number of European PGA Tour events. Originally designed by Pepe Gancedo and redesigned (Links Course) in 2005 by Manuel Piñero, Golf del Sur is the only golf course in the Canary Islands with 3 championship combinations. The course is thoroughly enjoyable with black volcanic sand in the bunkers, large greens and very wide fairways.

Amarilla Golf
Amarilla Golf is a 18 holes golf course located in the southern coast of Tenerife, in San Miguel de Abona. Near it is Golf del Sur, which complements the leisure and entertaiment options on the local area. The character of the 18 hole course is marked by the incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and the exclusive San Miguel Marina.  Amarilla Golf also offers Pitch and Putt, 9 holes, driving range, putting green and golf academy.
