Macesina is one of the small villages of the Municipality of Bedizzole. Time here seems to have come to a standstill and the frenzy of modern-life is unknown. A traditional farmhouse has been converted into Farmhouse Macesina, a small haven of relax, well-being and good living, where tradition, culture and history are skilfully blended with modern comforts.

 

Macesina, with its 5 rooms, offers exclusive accommodations with bed and breakfast for a select group of guests, who will have access to the private parking space, the wellness centre and a wide assortment of typical products by local farms ranging from wine to jams, honey to flour. All around, the green and quiet of a private park with swimming pool, fruit trees, scented shrubs and olive trees and a relax area with a pond and a gazebo for reading where the guests can enjoy all the peaceful serenity of Brescia's countryside. And those who wish to experience and obtain first-hand knowledge of the countryside can take the small trail, which leads after a short walk of a few minutes into the Fiume Chiese Park, the nesting place of the grey heron.
 

The Rooms

Marked by their fascinating shades of colour, the rooms of the Macesina agri-tourism farm are the ideal union between ancient and modern: they all preserve the spirit, layout, naturalness, and charm of farm life in the days of yonder, while being attentive to the needs of the most watchful and demanding traveller. They offer a total of 16 beds in double and triple bedrooms furnished with great attention and according to the area's typical style. The rooms all have spacious private bathrooms with a full array of comforts (shower, hairdryer, towel warmers, and bathrobes), colour TV, independent air-conditioning, safe and wi-fi Internet connection.

Conference Facilities

The Macesina agri-tourism farm is even the ideal solution for giving an unforgettable touch to company meetings and conventions. It has two conference halls that can host up to 90 people. They are equipped with the best that technology can offer: a 50” plasma screen, DVD player, PC connection, whiteboard, presentation board and illuminated board, audio system. One less worry on your mind! The seats and tables in the hall can be arranged as you please. At request coffee break service and catering also for gala evenings.

 

Restaurant

You can have dinner in the restaurant lounge, an old place with brick vaults, where a cosy fire-place can make your stay more enjoyable. In Summer meals can be served in the large portico. The cuisine offers exclusively local fresh products and herbs from the garden. The traditional local flavours are revised by the creativity of Francesca.

 

Of course, the wide outdoor courtyard, the halls and the Macesina Park are a superb setting for parties and ceremonies: weddings, birthdays, private poolside parties can be hosted with catering service by request and compatibly with the needs of the farm's guests who are the management's main priority.

Macesina has also dedicated the premises of the ancient and fascinating stone wine cellar for gourmet and tasting events organized by trade associations, fraternities, professional guilds, and institutions: in this case as well, the charm of the venue is the added value of any event.

Arzaga is situated between the Alps and Lake Garda, providing a stunning backdrop and a unique mild climate, which allows golf to be played throughout the year. The Bogliaco Golf Course lies in a picturesque valley 100 metres above Lake Garda, with a beautiful view over the entire lake. The golf course is surrounded by typical mediterranean vegetation, like oleander, laurel, cypresses and olive trees.
