La Magnanerie Charming Guest House near Aix en Provence, France

La Magnanerie is an ivy-covered, yellow stone 18th century Bastide, located near Aix-en-Provence, in the heart of an authentic little village.

 

A swimming pool hides behind the high garden walls where jasmine and honeysuckle perfume the air at dawn and in the evening.

Nearby are the golf courses of Pont Royal, Aix, Aix Marseille, les Baux de Provence, Servanes, Miramas, Sainte Victoire ....

"La Magnanerie" is ideally situated near to Les Alpilles and to Baux de Provence. There are many sites to visit in the area such as : Saint Rémy de Provence, l'Isle sur la Sorgue, La Roque d'Anthéron and its world famous Piano festival . Not forgetting that close by are also La Camargue, Arles, Nîmes, Les Saintes Maries de la Mer, Aix en Provence and Avignon with their festivals and exhibitions all summer long.

The owner of the internationally famous "Moulin de Vernegues" hotel/restaurant (currently located between holes 2 and 3), first put the idea for this golf course forward. Designed by Seve Ballesteros, the course has wide fairways, broad, sloping greens and water hazards.

 

Golf Club de Miramas

Between the Alpilles, the Etang de Berre, the Crau plain, the areas of Aix and Marseille, the Golf Club Miramas offers an 18 hole golf course of 5 619 m in lovely surroundings. Far from the bustling city amidst the pine forest, it offers a good variety where one can play all golf shots.

 

Sainte Victoire Golf Club

Located in the heart of the old provence in a magical environment, the golf course is just a few miles from Aix en Provence. Along the 18 holes, initially designed by Trent Jones in 1985, you can admire the majestic beauty of the mountain Sainte Victoire. The fairways unfold onto the beautiful valley surrounded by pines and "garrigues"

Situated at the foot of the village of Baux de Provence in the heart of the regional Alpilles park, in the heart of the estate, the 16 hectare picturesque 9 hole course known as "Alpilles" is situated in an exceptional position in the middle of the vines, olive trees and perfumes of Provence.

 

Aix Marseille Golf Club
Set in an established parkland and boasting many mature trees, this excellent 18-hole golf course stretches for around 6,900 yards and is par 73.

Servanes Golf Club
The Servanes Golf is situated at the feet of the Alpilles, at 10 minutes from Baux de Provence. Playing on this course, you will dive into a universe of peace, greenery and sun. Moments of unforgettable golf.
