The Cricketers Bed and Breakfast (previously a pub) was built in 1898 and has been sympathetically restored and extended to create a spacious family home in a quiet location on a village green, with countryside views and ample parking.
 
Situated in Lockerley, near Romsey, it is conveniently positioned for the historic cities of Salisbury and Winchester and a short distance from Southampton and The New Forest. Its location makes it ideally suited for rambling, fishing, golfing, sightseeing and horse riding.
 
Evening meals are available at local public houses within a few minutes drive.
 
Bed and Breakfast Accommodation consists of 2 individually appointed double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom the other with a private bathroom. Open fires and a wood burner are available in the dining areas providing a cosy atmosphere in the winter months.
 
Breakfast is flexible from continental to full English style and served in the dining area overlooking the garden. During the summer months breakfast is served on the patio if requested.
 
A study can be made available for long term guests on business.

The course is a testing and enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities, made more difficult when the wind blows - with a par of 72 (SSS 72 on white tees) it is 6387 yards long! Occupying one of the highest points in the area there are some spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.

Dunwood Manor Golf Club
Dunwood Manor Golf Club boasts a lovely parkland Course, stunning views and welcoming atmosphere. The course's beautiful but testing fairways and greens are bounded by ancient woodland unchanged since Roman times, and provide stunning views of Hampshire. Our excellent facilities include a lovely oak-beamed clubhouse, sunny patio overlooking the 1st tee and 18th green, competitively priced well stocked Pro-shop.

Romsey Golf Club
The course measures 5,856 yards from the white tees with a standard scratch of 69, is extremely well wooded, with narrow fairways and relatively small greens. To refer to it as a parkland layout would be something of an understatement.   The terrain is varying with slopes and rolling fairways, well bunkered, with some subtle changes of elevation to add spice to your round.

South Winchester Golf Club
Designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Alliss, the 7,086-yard, par 72 course provides a stern but fair test for golfers at all levels. The course is set around six lakes in an 'inland links' style through undulating landscape.

Cams Hall
The Cams Hall Estate Golf Club offers a true golfing test in beautiful surroundings. The 6,201-yard, par 71 Creek course is complemented by the 3,202-yard, par 36 Park course and combines to form three different 18-hole courses with spectacular views of the creek and marina.
