A detached bungalow in quiet location one mile from city centre with plenty of off-road parking. French and German spoken.

Walkers and cyclists most welcome, with plenty of storage for bikes and muddy boots. Clothes drying facility available. Excellent short and long distance walking and off road cycling direct from the house.

Three rooms, all ground floor, for up to six people.
Twin room (two single beds) with own private bathroom
Double room with large private bathroom
Twin room with en suite shower.

All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and digital TV.
Price includes full English breakfast, with free-range eggs or a light breakfast including vegetarian option.

The bungalow is surrounded by a large garden in a secluded and quiet location.

Facilities and local activities:
Parking is off-road and plentiful
Open countryside is ten minutes walk up the lane
City centre is just over a mile : 30 minutes walk, 10 minutes in the car or bus
Internet by arrangement
Local and long distance walking and cycling is excellent with many off-road expeditions accessible from the front door!
Golfing is excellent with two nearby courses. Royal Winchester Golf Club  is about 15 minutes delightul walk, and South Winchester Club is 10 minutes in the car 
Horse riding is also locally very good, but we do not have stabling facilities!

Royal Winchester Golf Club
Royal Winchester Golf Club was founded in 1888 has the distinction of having its smashing course designed by H Colt and AP Taylor, two well respected golf course architects who lent their skills to many of the finest courses enjoyed by club golfers all across England today.  The course here is laid out on some fine meadowland and is a real test of ability whether you are new to the game or a seasoned campaigner.

South Winchester Golf Club
It spans 7100 yards in total and there are some particularly long holes to tackle - so the big hitters will certainly enjoy taking it on. If you need to warm-up your swing in preparation for the challenges that lie ahead, the practice area is, appealingly, only two minutes walk from the first tee.
