GOLF :

Recently inaugurated, this is one of the newest golf courses on the island of Gran Canaria. It is situated in a typical landscape of the southern part of the island, with ravines, volcanic earth, views of mountains and sea. The lush scenery and green gardens are in start contrast with the desert surroundings. Dave Thomas and Roland Faur‚ designed this interesting and demanding course, on which you have to use all your skills if you want to be successful. The natural features of the landscape and the autochthonous vegetation have played an important part. Echoing with the common characteristic of the Gran Canarian countryside, more than 600 species of plants and trees have been established to give beauty to the area Salobre currently has a par 71, 18-hole course occupying a six-kilometre area and a second course is under construction.
