A quality green is par for the course and there are a variety of top class courses in the area with plenty of things to do and see when you tire of teeing-off. Poitou Charentes is set between the Loire Valley and Dordogne and offers some seriously challenging courses that are all a quick, easy drive from the ports. The coastal towns and islands also benefit from a micro-climate and, of course, the medieval town of Cognac is known for its fabled nectar - distillery and tasting tours are free!

 

Some of France's oldest and most famous golf courses can also be found in the historic region of Aquitaine that has a reliably warm and sunny climate making it all in all a great golfing destination.
