Built in the 20th Century style of the Picardy region, the village nestles in a preserved natural area of sand dunes, is surrounded by a large lake and flanked by one of France’s finest golf courses. On-site activities are numerous, the beach is accessible by train plus a mini-market and an English pub.

The restaurant “L'Onagre” located in the heart of resort and on the banks of the lake lies in a sunny position. It serves specialities from the Picardy region such as flammiches, as well as theme menus, delicious desserts, with a nice ambiance and a warm reception.


The restaurant is independent from Pierre & Vacances.

The Belle Dune Golf course is ranked amongst France's finest top ten courses and was awarded with the prize of No1 in the Picardie region.  Designed by Jean-Marie Rossi, the 18-hole, 5883m (6464 yards) course blends in perfectly with the finest duneland and bird sanctories in Europe, making it a worthy counterpart of the great British and Irish links courses whilst also retaining a woodland effect as it passes by a vast pine forest and lake area.  Like most links courses, keeping the ball low is the key to a good score.
