Villa to rent in Bidart, near to Biarritz on the Basque Coast. Just outside of Biarritz, Villa Kaioa, a shelter above the ocean, welcomes you.

Much more than just a simple holiday rental, it is the place where you reconnect with nature and the elements, the place where you regain tranquillity and inspiration, the place where you get back in touch with your inner self.

The villa Kaioa has been laid out for you to feel at home: with contemporary transparent furnishings in the living room, but more traditional and intimate in the bedrooms, always convivial!

Open to the outside and the terrace and garden, so that you can make the most of every moment of good weather, Kaioa is a cosy shelter in winter, or in the fresher Autumn evenings…..

 

In Kaioa, you are a special guest. When you arrive, the villa is ready to welcome you. Books, records or DVDs are at your disposal. Guidebooks or tourist information brochures will help you to organise your holidays and your visits in the Basque Country.

 

If you wish, we can go shopping for you or have your evening meal ready for you when you arrive.

Inside the Villa

The master bedroom has direct access to the terrace and garden. Double bed (1.80m), or separated into twin beds with ensuite bathroom.

 

An evening in front of a cosy fire to end an active day… the gentle and enveloping warmth soothes tired bodies… serenity reigns…

 

The pleasure of sharing a meal: a large table for 10 in front of the bay window… and the view on the sea.

 

A sofa and armchairs to sit near the fireplace. Ideal for resting after a long hike or a game of golf

Upstairs, two double rooms, double bed (1.60 m) or separated into twin beds, with sloping ceiling and shower room.

 

Feel like spending a restful moment reading or listening to music? Choose from among the books, CDs and DVDs that are at your disposition in the library.

 

Outside the Villa

 

Nestling in the greenery, villa Kaioa offers you the pleasures of an outdoor life.

Moments of plenitude far from the madding crowd: all around you is the sea and nature, further away are the surfers and, on the horizon, the white sails of the boats. You can hear the lapping of the waves and the singing birds.

A time of friendship, of laughing and playing with your family and friends.

And, if you feel the need for entertainment, in just a short walk, you are in the heart of the village. In Bidart with its typical houses, its shops and restaurants, its Saturday morning market…

Kaioa, regain your energy.

 

The salads are made, the barbecue is ready… the fun of a lunch with friends surrounded by greenery. At the hottest times of the day you will be protected from the sun by the canopy. Good for a drink or playing board games outside. Need some peace and quiet for thoughtful contemplation? An ideal space has been arranged in the bamboo.

 

At Kaioa, you are constantly in contact with the ocean

 

Turquoise, dark blue, or sometimes grey, according to the changing light, the lulling sound or booming noise of the crashing waves, sea spray carried on the wind, smells of the sea – with its ever-changing facets, the ocean never ceases to delight. You will never get tired of contemplating it. On the coast, Ilbarritz castle, the Rock of the Virgin Mary and Biarritz appear and disappear with the changing light.

Golf

Parcours Sensations, run by Caroline Viellard, golf instructors’ champion 2007, and Olivier Magnou, has been established in Ilbarritz since 2005. Just 5 minutes away by car or a 30-minute walk, the Villa can be glimpsed from the Club House.

After your golf lessons, you can relax at the Villa, explore the region, go hiking or why not test out your newly acquired skills on one of the 12 golf courses in the region. If you ask for the Biarritz Golf Pass, you will have access to a different golf course every day.

Villa Kaioa in Bidart and Parcours Sensations in Ilbarritz have joined forces to offer you all inclusive golfing holidays. Make the most of your stay in Villa Kaioa to acquire some basic golf techniques or to improve your swing and your handicap. Several different formulas are available, adapted to your level and objectives. Lessons lasting 2 hours or 3hr 30, according to the formula chosen, every day for 5 days, for adults or with your children.

 

After your golf lessons, you can relax at the Villa, explore the region, go hiking or why not .. test out your newly acquired skills on one of the 12 golf courses in the region. With the Biarritz Golf Pass you will have access to a different golf course every day.

Biarritz Golf Pass : a different golf course every day.   A wonderful way to discover the golfs of the Basque Coast and southern Landes. The Biarritz Golf Pass allows you to play 5 different courses among 6 golfs : Arcangues Golf Club,Bassussary Makila Golf Club(Bayonne), Biarritz le Phare Golf  and Ilbarritz on the Basque coast, Golf  Moliets  and Seignosse Golf  in the Landes. If you prefer one of these courses, you may play twice there.
