Arnauton house and lodge is a 16th century farmhouse which is located in the heart of Gascony just 6km south of Condom. 

 

Beautifully renovated farmhouse set in five acres of grounds, with superb views. An ideal holiday home for large groups and an idyllic venue for weddings and special celebrations

 

The main house has recently been completely restored and sleeps twelve in two separate wings. There is generous space downstairs including a magnificent salon with mezzanine balcony which opens onto the swimming pool.

The Lodge

The lodge is a barn conversion located just below the pool a few a steps from the main house. From the terrace there are splendid views with the Pyrenees visible in certain conditions. There is a fully fitted kitchen in an open plan dining/sitting area. There are two bedrooms with on suite showers - one twin bedded and one double. There is under floor hearing.

 

The Grounds

The house is set in five acres of landscaped grounds with a garden at the front

 

The swimming pool is situated outside the summer salon with views to the south and west, the swimming pool is 12 x 6 metres, with a constant depth of 1.4 metres.

 

An all weather tennis court is situated just up from the swimming pool.

 

Arnauton is situated in the heart of the Gascony country side and as such is surrounded by old bastide towns and beautiful pieces of countryside. With Arnauton as your base, there are many activities within easy reach:

 

Food – the local area is renowned for a rich variety of food: foie gras and all types of duck speciality dishes.

Wine and Armagnac – good country wines are everywhere and this is the centre for Armagnac. There are plenty of opportunities for wine and Armganac tasting at local vineyards.

Walking – the rolling countryside provides great variety, and there are many old bastide villages to explore. Close by you will find Larressingle, Fourcès, Montréal and Condom.

 

Sports – golf, tennis, horse-riding, pelote (a traditional Basque racket game) and fishing are all within easy reach.

Golf D'Albret, Barbaste 18 holes

A genuine green haven in the heart of the Albret country, the Golf course is first and foremost remarkable for its undulating terrain, its track and the natural environment of its setting, dominating both exceptional views and at the same time forming the border with the Landes forest.

 

Golf de Fleurance 9 holes

Around a XVIII Gascony house in colombage style, the course has natural difficulties (oaks and ash trees, stream) and artificial one (bunkers, small valley). One can play all year long, thanks to the softness of the Gascony weather and a total watering in summer.

 

Golf de Guinlet, Eauze

This beautiful 18-hole golf course (par 70/5675m) is magnificently located in the woods north of Eauze (Gers, South of France). The golf course is open to members as well as non members and can be played all year around.

 

Golf D'Auch Embats – 45 minutes – 18 holes

Pleasantly designed in 5 valleys. Richly wooded. . In this idyllic setting where you feel the sweetness of Gascony. This course offers an exceptional variety of shots where the length and accuracy alternate constantly.
