In the department of Calvados, near to the charming and very authentic rural village of St.Julien sur Calonne, the Domaine de La Courtille is a half timbered former 19th century pressoir.

 

Located at the crossroads of Deauville, Trouville and Honfleur in the countryside of the Pays d'Auge, the domaine is only 500 metres from Saint Julien Golf Club and sits in large grounds with a spring and trees.

 

To welcome you as friends we have restored and decorated our two apartments combining modern comforts with the charm of the past.

 

In this typical Normandy property of 5 hectares of pasture overlooking thevalley of Calonne, in an idyllic setting, we invite you to relax in an atmosphere of serenity and to be at one with nature.

Very near to Pont l'Eveque, 15mn from the sea and near to the famous boardwalk of Deauville with its racecourse, the port of Trouville and Honfleur.

 

Gîte Zentoo

The cottage Zentoo, formerly the attic of the press, is now restored in the tradition of the Auge, with its separate entrance. This charming cottage has:
Large living room: Beamed vaulted cathedral ceiling elegegantly furnished by Laura Ashley with widescreen TV. A convivial dining area for four to six people alongside theAmerican breakfast bar.
Kitchen: Very bright and functional kitchen. Fully equipped with dishwasher, induction hob, oven,microwave, coffee maker, toaster, washer and dryer.

Double bedroom: With a double bed and views overlooking the valley, it is truly a place of relaxation with its massage chair in the alcove.
Bathroom: Elegant and equipped with a bath, a bright and airy.
Separate toilet,

 

The cottage can sleep four to five people with a sofa bed and elegant screen and a single bed for one person. The cottage has its own private lawned garden with sun loungers, gazebo and seating for either shelter or for sunshine and also has a parking area at the entrance of the domaine.

 

Le Gîte Chicamour

Adjacent to the barn of the press, this charming cottage is a lovely 45m2duplex (two floors) totally independent, with its patio terrace and views of the park and the valley.
The interior is designed for couples and features:

Large living room with Laura Ashley furnishings, it has a fireplace with insert and a large widescreen television.
American breakfast bar.

Separate fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, washing machine etc.
Double bedroom : cozy and romantic with its canopy.
Elegant bathroom equipped with a bathtub.

Outside,parking and private terrace overlookng the orchards and meadows othe valley. Teak outside furniture with deck chairs.

St Julien Golf Club [500 metres from the Domaine] 27 holes

Lucien Barriere has transformed this excellent parkland layout into a much better quality course. Big changes to the design and layout make it one of the best now in Normandy. The greens as always are first class and fast!

 

Deauville New Golf

27 Holes of superb parkland golf and ranked in Normandy's top 3. Originally designed by Tom Simpson with Henry Cotton adding the Blue nine. Stunning views across the Channel. Not easy to book on weekends in main season.

 

St Gatien Golf Club

This friendly parkland course is located on highland looking out over the Le Havre Estuary. It's a picturesque layout with 5 or 6 hilly holes, generous fairways and the best clubhouse ambience in the area. We highly recommend the buffet lunch!

 

Amiraute Golf Club

Built on a former stud farm this 18 hole (6055m-par 73) course has real championship potential as well as some challenging water obstacles. With 7 Floodlit holes the course is unique in Europe while the 17 ornamental statues add a cultural aspect.

 

Houlgate Golf Course

Located in the middle of Norman bocage, in an antique landscaped garden, Houlgate Golf combines eye catching landscape and variety.

 

Cabourg Le Home Golf Course

The Cabourg golf course is now back in among the big classics of the game in France. At the sixteenth (167 meters, par 3) you must play a green on the top of a high dune among the beach grass and the bushes, where you see the beach and the whole resort.
