Candlemas' is a very comfortable and spacious single story dwelling sleeping eight with a further 4 in detached garden room. Kitchen area has touch-control hob with oven under, microwave and dishwasher, under-counter fridge and extra fridge-freezer. Utility room with washing machine and extra loo. Dining area with 8' pine table, seating 10. (another table for extras) Furnished for comfort with log burning stove , fully carpeted, with comfortable seating areas in sitting room that faces south with large patio windows and door overlooking heated outdoor swimming pool and garden. TV/DVD in sitting room. Gas central heating. Great house for winter as well as summer!

Accommodation
Bedroom one. Double bedroom with ensuite shower, sink and loo. t.v. Flexible bed arrangement – 2 single beds that pushed together form kingsized bed, made up ready for you-
Bedroom two having three single beds - two can form kingsized bed - please inform of your selection. Z bed for third room occupant.
Bedroom three has double bed .
Bedroom four is small with a single bed.
Bathroom with bath, loo and shower.

Step out from sitting room to fenced patio with outside table and chairs. Gated steps up to outdoor swimming pool, 20' x 11' x 4' deep - no deep end. Water heated to take off chill. Please note it is not bathwater warm!

Please note that pool heated from May to September and then closed down for winter months.

Hand and bath towels are provided, but please bring swimming and beach towels. All beds made up - please advise whether twin beds or kingsized are required.

Altogether a most comfortable, attractive and worthwhile holiday home. NOTE: You don't have to have a large party to enjoy this home - we book it out for two people only as well!

The self contained detached garden studio room is about 40 paces from the house and flanks the swimming pool. This sleeps up to four - one double bed and two singles. It has a shower, loo, basin and small kitchenette area with sink, microwave, kettle and some crockery ideal for snacks and breakfasts. This is not suitable for young children on their own, but is ideal for responsible teenagers, or adults who want to get away from the crowd.

The Rainy Day or Activity room is a wonderful 20 x 20ft cabin. Great room for the adults and kids to chill out in. Plenty of games provided. Comfy sofas and chairs. Books. Exercise bike for those who like to keep active.

Heacham and Surroundings
Heacham village boasts a golf course, two beaches and comprehensive shops, takeaways, restaurants, pubs etc. and is an ideal location to set out from for holiday pursuits, especially golfing. Near to Sandringham. the Queen's Norfolk home, and Hunstanton with Seaworld, and many other excitements to explore. We also have Heacham Lavender shop and distillery nearby - a must to visit if you like the perfume - lots of purple fields. We are also on the flight path for the thousands of pink-footed geese flying overhead morning and evening in the winter months - a wonderful sight.

Designed in a links style the course will challenge all golfers, a long course at over 7,000 yards means it will be one of the longest in Norfolk, however with a number of teeing areas on each hole the course will be playable for all handicaps.

Searles Golf Club
Welcoming, 9 Hole par 34 Course open to all on a pay and play basis. Designed in a links style with good large greens and the Heacham River winding through the 3rd and 4th hole. A ten bay driving range is available to learn improve, or warm up prior to playing. Tel:01485 536 010

Lying on the northwestern coast of Norfolk, Hunstanton Golf Club, though not quite as tough as some of the Open Championship courses, is still a real challenge for all links enthusiasts.  The links is of the highest calibre, offers countless superb holes and boasts greens that are amongst the finest and slickest in England.

Royal West Norfolk Golf Club

Royal West Norfolk Golf Club (Brancaster) is an outstanding links course set on the North Norfolk coast. With the North Sea on one side and the saltmarsh on the other it has a wonderfully atmospheric setting, and is ranked 17th in England and 44th in the UK by top100golfcourses.com.

Middleton Hall Golf Club

Our Par 71 (70 Ladies) course comprises eighteen holes in a magnificent parkland setting. With many mature specimen trees and strategically placed water features the course presents a challenge to golfers of all abilities.
