L'Hort de Sant Cebria, Guest house in Emporda for golf holidays Costa Brava, Spain

L'Hort de Sant Cebrià located in Torroella de Fluvià, a small village of stone houses surrounded by apple orchards and olive groves located 4 kilometres from the mouth of the river Fluvià and the beach of Sant Pere Pescador, one of the last virgin beaches of the Costa Brava, with 6 miles of sand dunes.

 

At the heart of the region of the Empordà, it is an ideal location as a base for visiting the Costa Brava. Girona and the surrounding areas including the many golf courses very nearby.

It is a large stone house built at the beginning of the last century as a Civil Guard barracks. Its location is exceptional with its large garden and swimming pool adjacent to the apse of a Romanesque church, forming a setting of great beauty. 

The owners, Juan Carlos and Jordi, conducted in 2008 a complete restoration of the building while retaining those architectural elements that give a unique character. All materials, furniture, fabrics and colours were carefully selected to create an elegant and serene atmosphere that invites relaxation. 

The house has two floors. 

On the ground floor is the dining room, a large living room with fireplace and library with access to a beautiful garden and the terrace by the pool for the exclusive use of guests.

On the upper floor from the windows and balconies of the rooms and 5 suites can enjoy beautiful views. 

This charming Cottage offers the services of a quality hotel, private parking, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wifi, Free Internet corner, bar service ... etc. 

For the atmosphere of tranquillity that we want to provide guests and the careful design of the house, L'Hort de Sant Cebrià is not suitable for families with children aged under 12.

The Peralada Golf Club is an ideal course both for staging competitions and large tournaments and for enjoying a pleasant, relaxing day out. There is a magnificent par-71 round of 18 holes over 5,990 m and four tee-offs for each hole. It is fairly flat with areas of lakes, water-banks and trees, suitable for all types of player.

The exclusive golf club, designed and looked after down to the last detail, has a “Championship course” of 18 holes (par 72). During the course you will find outstanding lakes, wide greens and breathtaking views

 

Emporda Golf Club 
The Emporda Golf Club consists of three various courses 9 holes: Each three can be independently played or in combination with one of two others, forming one 18 holes. The competition course, where most important tournaments of the club are held, is formed by the Green and Blue courses. They are characterized by a wide surface of greens, what allows a big variety of positions of the flag, giving the course numerous game possibilities.

 

Golf Platja de Pals 
What you can say about the course of Pals is as high as its reputation. Situated among pines, in a context of tranquillity, with a regular arrangement and a certain flexibility with the tees, it is above all a very attractive course at all the levels.

Surrounded by magnificent landscapes, it gathers the best conditions to practise golf under the so pleasant Mediterranean Sea climate. It possesses three different zones consisted of sweet sloping hills, pine forests and fairways twisting between lakes.

 

Gualta Golf

Defined as a PAR 3 of short distances, the 18 hole Golf Gualta course is a golfers’ delight, with bunkers, lakes and large greens it provides a challenge for golfers of all levels and abilities. The advantage for beginners is the fact that they are allowed to play the course after having taken only a few lessons, as golf handicaps are not obligatory.
