Can Piferrer is a typical Catalan farmhouse of the plain of the Selva district, built in 1740 and catalogued as a protected cultural heritage element thanks to the fact that its architecture has not been changed in over 260 years.  Recently it has been restored, conserving all of its differentiating elements of architectural value and without altering the special personality that makes it a unique farmhouse in these parts. It preserves its original character and structure to the full, with no modifications whatsoever.  

The house stands in a marvellous location that combines farmland with woods of oak, holm oak and pine and streams and brooks lined with vegetation. The farmhouse itself is surrounded by a large green area with trees and fields of crops. It has exceptional views of the Montseny, the plain of La Selva and a good proportion of the Catalan Pyrenees and their foothills.

Situated just 3kms from Cassà de la Selva and the historic and picturesque village of Sant Andreu Salou,  its location makes it an ideal base for touring the area: very close to Girona (13 km), the Costa Brava (16 km), Girona Airport (5 km), and little more than 5 minutes from the AP-7 motorway and the C-25 Transversal Axis road.

The rural accommodation offered by Can Piferrer consists of:

An independent house, the Can Piferrer farmhouse itself, with over 300 m2 on each floor, with four bedrooms (three with en-suite bathroom), a large kitchen, a dining room with a large fireplace, two sitting rooms and a large central hall on both the ground floor and first floor.  Capacity is for ten people.

Two apartments adjoining the farmhouse, El Porxo and El Forn, with ground floor and first floor, located in the part formerly occupied by the stables, with a capacity for 4-5 people each and surrounded by a large garden and an extensive green area. Can be rented either jointly with the farmhouse or individually, as they form part of the same building.

If you are a large group and you would like to rent the masia and the apartments, maximum capacity is 20 people.

Golf Course Golf d'Aro-Mas Nou is situated in "Les Gavarres" mountains. 300 m. above sea level with spectacular panoramic views of the famous Costa Brava. Surrounded by pine trees and cork oaks as well as over one thousand olive trees, the Golf d'Aro counts in addition two large artificial lakes, that make the course more attractive.

The 18 holes Golf Course, founded in 1968, was designed by Hamilton Stutt & CO. It combines a very technical first 9 holes, surrounded by pines and cork oaks, with the long second 9 holes, flat terrain with wide long fairways.
