The Villa di Corsano is ideally located at about 15 Km South-West of Siena. Touristic and historical places of interest, such as Florence, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia, Montalcino, San Gimignano, Volterra, are within an hour from the estate.

 

The Villa di Corsano, whose origins go back to the Medieval period, was restored between the XVth and the XVIth century, but its actual structure dates back to the first half of 1800. A body which closed the courtyard was added to its original "U" shaped structure, a structure which is still characterized by two orders of Loggiati, one upon the other in the form of arches.

 

Thanks to its secular trees, the access to the Villa, surrounded by a large park, with a marvellous swimming pool, offers refreshment and relaxation against summer sultry heat.

 

The Villa, subdivided into flats, is the estate owners' residence and it is suggested to all the ones who want to stay in the country but who, at the same time, do not love places which are too solitary.

 

The guest can used the beautiful swimming pool in the garden of the Villa, make by the renovation of the old fountain and now equipped with sun-umbrellas, chairs and sun-deck.

 

At disposal of the clients a cover parking, a free wi-fi area in the court of the Villa and a little laundry.

 

Apartments Villa di Corsano

We offer 4 apartments in the Villa: IL BABBO, BERTO, ALVISE and LA PIEVE. All of them are accessed through a courtyard, which is decorated with an ancient well and colourful flowers, and where guests often enjoy a drink in the evening.

 

The park is also equipped with garden furniture, where guests can relax in the shade. A beautiful panoramic terrace, recently restored, permit to enjoy the sun during the day and the cool of the country in the evening.

 

Our guests staying at the Villa have access to the beautiful swimming pool, located in the garden, and have at disposal umbrellas, sun bed and deck chairs.

 

Apartment Alvise [2 people]

This small but cosy flat is on the first floor of the villa. It is very pretty and intimate, suitable for a couple in search for a relaxing time. The bedroom, with a bathroom en suite, is spacious and the painted ceiling makes it cheerful. The view, through the window, is of the vineyards and the beautiful church "Pieve Romanica". A kitchenette, perfectly functional and equipped, completes the flat.

Apartment Il Babbo [5 people]

This flat is on the ground floor of the Villa di Corsano. Its rooms are all very spacious and furnished with ancient pieces belonging to the family. The ceilings are nicely decorated with frescos. The large dining-room has a unique wooden floor which was installed at the beginning of 1900. A room has the exit on the garden where a table is at the guests' disposal, along with a private space. The bathroom is absolutely unique and a must see. It is totally painted with frescos and, in a pure 1800 style, is designed around a large marble bathtub.

Apartment Berto [4 people]

This apartment is on the ground floor of the Villa di Corsano and opens on the charming courtyard. Its style is rustic, as its floors are made of old burnt clay and the ceilings are made of beams and bricks. It has a medium-sized kitchen, a living-room with a fire place, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with bath and shower.
 

Apartment La Pieve [6 people]

This pleasant apartment is on the second floor of the Villa. Through the windows, it seems as if you can touch the trees of the Villa's landscaped park. The living-room offers a view of the vineyards and the beautiful church "Pieve Romanica" as well as the surrounding nature.

Royal Golf La Bagnaia

Finally opened 18 holes of pure emotion

The Royal Golf La Bagnaia Course is the first Tuscan, 18 holes designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. It is a Par 71, which is 6,101 metres long, covering an area of 1300 hectares, perfectly harmonized within the gently rolling hills of Siena. The Tuscan landscape is a typical example of Inland Links, which refer to the Scottish Highlands with the "Rough" that waves in the wind. The course is enhanced by beautiful lakes and a majestic Club House, where you can enjoy a unique view on all 18 holes and the towers of Siena.
