The road leaves the village and, suddenly, a wide valley appears in front of you. And an ancient oak. That’s where we are.

We extend an invitation to today’s travellers who want to find a calm “haven”, a welcoming room, a table laid with all the flavours of the land and, maybe, a little peace and quiet as they explore new sights and sounds.

 

Our Rooms
Five spacious, welcoming rooms take their name from the plant you see from each window. Care is given to the details and the interior decor is both tasteful and discreet, combining the warmth of the family’s antique furniture to modern conveniences such as satellite TV (Sky Vision Gold multilanguage), safe, minibar and kettle.

 

All the rooms have their own private bathroom and are ideal for whoever values his or her own relaxation and freedom.

 

We are open 12 months around the year.

Our room price is from € 90,00 to € 150,00. Prices include one room for one night for two people.

An extra bed, where possible, will require an additional € 30.00.

The price includes overnight stay, bed linen and towels, daily room cleaning and a buffet breakfast.

 

Do you like golf?
The Nido di Gabbiano is only 1200 m. from one of the most beautiful golf courses in Italy, the “Golf Club Poggio dei Medici”: 18 splendid holes designed by Baldovino Dassù and Alvise Fioravanti. This challenging course is also a lot of fun and the golfer can spend a very pleasant day playing in a delightful natural setting. The Italian Ladies Open is played there and is also the home for a Challenge Tour Event.

 

Poggio dei Medici Golf and Country Club

The golf course was designed by Baldovino Dassù and Alvise Rossi Fioravanti and it is an impressive and entertaining course to play. It is a championship course built according to USGA standards. The golf course is challenging for both beginner and advanced players, including those who enjoy playing at competition levels.

 

Mugello Circuit
Known around the world, it is considered one of the most beautiful by motorcyclists. The Mugello race track, recently acquired by the famous Ferrari car manufacturer, is a favourite destination of motor enthusiasts. All year long there are a number of car and motorcycle races, but the season’s high is the weekend that is entirely dedicated to the GP Motor Race.

The Nido di Gabbiano is only 25 km. from Florence and it is easy to reach from the “A1 Motorway” – exit Barberino di Mugello.
