A lovely property on the Sarthe river, calm and protected. You can take a walk along the river right from our front door. A great escape just 250 km from Paris. A beautiful location, surrounded by gardens and at the river’s edge. La Marronnière a 17th century small family chateau has been completely restored, with authentic charm.

You will positively be charmed by this 17th century mansion overhanging the Sarthe River, in a bucolic environment. A walk along the riverside will give you the opportunity to take a break, miles away from Paris. This property owes a great deal of its charms to its exceptional location. Entirely restored, The Marronniere managed to keep its authenticity through the centuries and became a great family hollyday house.

3 guest rooms for 8 people.   Dinner on reservation either in our dining room of in summer, on our terrace overlooking the Sarthe.

We can also offer cooking classes for local and traditional dishes, given by Marie Hélène de La Selle; minimum three people - 3 hours.
