5 Star Self catering accommodation for holidays or celebrations,10 minutes from Historic Georgian Bath and the Cotswold hills. The accommodation stands in its own grounds and offers excellent amenity value from its south facing garden. Extensive views can be enjoyed out over the adjacent River Avon with its wildlife and meadows against the backdrop of Georgian Bath.

 

The coach-house dates from around 1600, it would have been used by traffic on route to London via the A4, horse driven traffic that is. Much of the charm and character remains from those times with exposed oak beams and Bath Stone walls, the old stage coach bays are still in place under the apartments.

 

Facilities 

The Lower Floor comprises of a large chefs kitchen with range cooker, Microwave, Fridge freezer, dishwasher, waste disposal unit and washing machine. The Large Dining room can comfortably seat 8 has direct access to the balcony , a perfect place for evening drinks. 

The Lounge has two sofa's plus extra tub chairs, wide screen digital TV and DVD and HiFi. WiFi is also available upon request.

 

Internally the accommodation is arranged over two floors, the Upper floor has two master bedrooms both en-suite. Two further bedrooms, one twin and a further double share a master bathroom with whirlpool bath (shower over). All bedrooms have large French balcony and TV.

 

The apartment is Fully central heated and all bed linen and towels are provided. We do advise that the apartments have balconies at all levels which may not suit parties with small children.

Riverside is a Non smoking .We do allow well behaved pets by prior arrangement.

 

As an optional extra there is also a Large outdoor Hot-tub available to guests. Along side is a decking area which maybe used for barbecues. There is a spacious well maintained lawn and garden area with large teak table and seating for 8 people, perfect for out door eating during the warmer months.

Bath Golf Club

Bath Golf Club, established in 1880, has one of England’s finest and oldest inland courses. The 18 hole, 6505 yard, par 71 course may not be the length that today’s course designers favour, but in the 1880s they knew how to create a challenge using the natural contours of a hilltop location. The course is full of variety and is laid out over fine “golfing country”. Springy downland turf over shallow soil and limestone ensures rapid draining and the course is usually found to be in superb condition.

 

Cumberwell Park Golf Club

The 36 hole course designed by Adrian Stiff provides different challenges for golfers of every ability. The course encompasses a wonderful blend of rolling countryside, lakes, streams, natural copse and woodland. The natural contours of the landscape have shaped the design of the course, which covers 400 acres. The beauty and interest of the course is further enhanced by nine lakes, thirty-four acres of woodland and free flowing streams.

 

Lansdown Golf Club

Where the Visitor is always Welcome.  All that one would hope to find in the ideal golf club is in abundance at Lansdown. Our superbly conditioned course designed by Harry Colt is pleasing to the eye with easy walking and superb views. It is situated just three miles from the beautiful Georgian City of Bath.

 

Kingsdown Golf Club

Whilst seemingly open and forgiving, the course will punish errant play; play intelligent and thoughtful golf and you will be rewarded. Our Greenkeepers boast over 100 years of greenkeeping experience at Kingsdown alone, ensuring that golf course is always delivered at it’s best.  The clubhouse at Kingsdown Golf Club has a large bar area with panoramic views of the course and a well stocked bar.

 

Manor House Golf Club, Castle Combe

Golf at Manor House is an experience. Situated in unique Cotswold countryside in the stunning valley of Castle Combe, the undulating landscape provides a great adventure for any level of golfer. Handcut tees and greens, fairways greeted by the River Bybrook and a 17th hole rated as one of the Top 10 Par 3's of the World, Golf at Manor House is an experience you will want to repeat.

 

Chippenham Golf Club

The Club, founded in 1896, has gone through many changes in its history. Today, the undulating parkland course offers golfers a fine test without being 'heavy' on yardage.
