 A comfortable Bed and Breakfast in a small villa, on the hills who surround Grassina, 4 Km drive from the center of Florence. From Florence “Piazza San Marco” bus 31 connect Florence to Grassina ( every 15 minutes).

La Cappellina B&B is small and friendly: we have two rooms whit air conditioning and two bathrooms whit hair-dryer for guests.

 

Each room has its particular charm: the largest room is very luminous and have a privative bathroom outside, and the second room is well-lit, smallest, but nevertheless very pleasant and bathroom inside. Kettle, coffee/tea bags and a mineral water in the room.

 

The large sitting-room with fireplace and huge windows gives access to the beautiful terrace from which you look onto a wonderful landscape of the Chianti hills.

 

The terrace, which is reachable also from some of the other rooms, has comfortable furniture for peaceful reading and relaxation.

During spring and summer, when the weather is warm, breakfast can be served on the terrace; guests can use the terrace table and barbecue facilities for preparing their own meals.

 

From here you get easily into Florence as well as to the heart of Chianti, Golf Ugolino ( 2 Km), like Greve (14 kms) centre of the Wine "Chianti" trademark, and Impruneta (8 kms), home of the famous "cotto toscano".

A natural course, difficult, for differences in levels, the handicaps, the small and well defended greens. Considered one of the most suggestive natural golf course of the worls, it has been named among the 50 most beautiful golf course of the world by the American writer Chris Santella.

 

Poggio dei Medici Golf and Country Club

The golf course was designed by Baldovino Dassù and Alvise Rossi Fioravanti and it is an impressive and entertaining course to play. It is a championship course built according to USGA standards. The golf course is challenging for both beginner and advanced players, including those who enjoy playing at competition levels.  

Le Pavoniere Golf Club

Designed by Arnold Palmer, the wonderful landscape of Le Pavoniere makes this a lovely course to play. The Arnold Palmer designed course features hazards that are cleverly brought into play. The fairways are slightly rolling, and the course is surrounded by holm-oak woods, cluster pines and cypresses. Very long fairways and undulating greens are the features of the course. 

Montelupo Golf Club

The Montelupo Golf Club was founded in 1996 by Christopher Cowie , who designed the course with 9 holes on flat land along the river Arno, surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan landscape of Chianti Montalbano. The course, 9 hole par 36, measuring 2,914 meters.

 

Montecatini Golf Club Immersed in the Tuscan countryside, the Montecatini Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course of natural beauty that has been built in the hilly countryside. The player is faced with many natural hazards such as lakes, streams, forests, and ditches which have been formed as part of the natural contours of the land. As well, the course features many dog legs and the greens are very fast and are also undulating, putting the best golfer's skill to the test.
