The country inn "La Sarzola" is located in the heart of the "Fiordalisi" golf club within the nature refuge of Magliano. The ten rooms offer a panoramic view of the golf course and 10-hectare lake and each have an en-suite bathroom, tv and air conditioning.
The original walls date back to the Eighteenth Century and all the rooms are furnished with local hand crafted antiques, there will be a total of 10 rooms and one apartment with 5 beds.
The inn offers two options: either a B&B accommodation available for single, double, or triple rooms, or a "half-board" option which includes breakfast and dinner for each guest. Any golf club members are entitled to facilities for the neighbouring 18-hole courses of Cervia, Rimini, and Castel S. Pietro
By booking in advance, beginner golfers have free admission to the executive course and can attend beginner's classes at discounted prices.
The G.C. "Fiordalisi" and "La Sarzola" are located 5 kilometres from Forlì; 20 kilometres from the adriatic Coast and Ravenna and about 100 Kilometres from both Florence and Venice. The Airports of Bologna, Rimini and Forlì have scheduled low cost domestic and international flights. The Station of Forlì is on the Milan - Bari train line. By car, Forlì can be reached from the A14 autostrada (Bologna - Canosa), the E45 super-strada (Orte - Ravenna), or the Via Emilia.
Transportation to and from the train station is provided for our guests.
Activities
The complex is located within the boundaries of a nature refuge noted for its immense diversity of animal species. Its numerous nature trails and observation points provide excellent grounds for bird watching and it is possible to book guided walks with trained professional naturalists. The "Fiordalisi" Golf Club includes:
A 9 hole, 3105 meter, par 36 multi-level course built on a hilly landscape, thus providing diversified playing terrain. A second 9 hole, 3,120 meter course currently under construction.
A club house overlooking a lake with a driving range located directly on the water, and a 600 square-meter putting-green each equipped with floodlights enabling nocturnal golf practice and tournaments. A separate 2 hole practice course, putting-green and driving range for beginner golfers under the direction of professional instructors.
