For a stay with your family or between friends ,  bed and breakfast or house rental, you can choose the rental of the Manoir , the grange or the whole estate, (rental by the week or fortnight).

In the heart of the Black Perigord, the richest cultural region of the Dordogne, regrouping prehistoric sites, medieval castles, the most beautiful bastide towns such as Monpazier, celebrated abbeys such as Cadouin - a stage on the pilgrim route to St. jacques de Compostelle, you will easily find the “Domaine des Farguettes, south west of Sarlat, south of Perigueux, east of Bergerac, the three towns delimiting thegolden triangle of the Dordogne.

The “ Domaine des Farguettes “ is firstly a spot with a 300 degree panorama, reminiscent of a renaissance painting, where the never-ending blue horizon brings to mind Baudelaire’s “balconies in the sky “

The “ Manoir des Farguettes “ was built in 1664 by journeymen artisans who signed their work in a stone star bearing the date. The buildings owe their charm to the builders knowledge and the noble materials used. The interior decoration also shows a taste for authenticity, each object, each piece of furniture chosen with care and taste. The pottery works made by the mistress of the house Françoise de Torrenté , found everywhere in the house, and our library-salon houses books and CDs for the most refined taste.

YOUR STAY at the “Manoir des Farguettes“ following the formula ESTATE RENTAL for 20 to 24 people principally in July and August and all year .( Week- Fortnight) One can also rent the manoir (12 pers.) or the Grange (10 pers.) All year round it’s also possible to reserve BED & BREAKFAST ROOMS.

Of all our activities at the Domaine, the Bed and Breakfast needs the most energy from our hosts, being available at every moment ! Claude and Françoise Gazel de Torrenté with their life-long passion for the theatre and love of poetry are used to conviviality and conversation.  Breakfast is the occasion to plan an unforgettable excursion, a picturesque market or other hidden beauties of the Black perigord which you will not find in any tourist guide

Driving range, pitching area with practice bunker and separate putting green are all available at Golf Club Château les Merles. 

Domaine de Rochebois Golf Course 
Nine hole golf course, where the impeccable greens are well protected by bunkers and stretches of water, and the entire course is set in a gentle, harmonious landscape.
