Standing in an elevated private position Stinchcombe Hill House is a fine Edwardian residence built in 1907 by the renowned Cotswold architect, Morley Horder, under a commission by the Lister family who were the principal employers locally.
The result of Horder's efforts is a fine stone built country house with part rendered brick elevations under a stone tiled gabled roof.
The property retains all of its Edwardian charm with stone mullion leaded casement windows and machine tapestry panels to the reception hall and inner hall.
Approached over a 'no through road' across Stinchcombe Hill Golf Course, Stinchcombe Hill House is set in attractive grounds with sweeping gravelled driveway, formal gardens, beautifully mixed woodland extending to some 10 acres.
Adjoining Stinchcombe Hill Golf Course which is laid out on private hilltop trust land,
Stinchcombe Hill House is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and enjoys a peaceful and secluded position on a spur of the Southwest Cotswolds.
The views are delightful and far reaching over open countryside and on toward the Severn Vale.

Golf on your doorstep at Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club
Stinchcombe Hill is a challenging golf course set on the southern edge of the Cotswold Escarpment above the Severn Valley. The late Henry Longhurst rated Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club among the top most scenic courses in Europe. The course was formed in 1889 but re-designed by Fred Hawtree and later by James Braid. An excellent test for both low and high handicap golfers but regardless of how well you play, you will enjoy the views.
