Warren Cottage offers a delightful balance between contemporary comforts and its architectural features Some of these have historical significance, such as the many doors and banisters made by Edward Barnsley, regarded as Britain's finest 20th Century furniture maker.

 

All its rug covered oak-floored rooms ooze charm in spades. They are spacious, beautifully decorated and sumptuously furnished.

 

The well-equipped kitchen and dining room with table for 8 is designed to host big dinners to celebrate birthdays, or a great day at the races.

 

The three bedrooms with comfortable large double beds all enjoy their own en suite bathrooms with showers and bath.

For those needing to stay in touch with the outside world from this peaceful corner of the Cotswolds, the cottage is equipped with Wi-Fi and Sky TV. There is also a land line which accepts incoming and emergency calls.

The grounds have been newly landscaped incorporating a lovingly created rose garden. Rare trees grow in the lower garden; the lime tree being one of the biggest in the UK.

 

The view of the rolling Cotswold Hills beyond is wonderful and can be enjoyed from the lounge and upstairs bedrooms. On one side of the house is a large meadow and on the other two sides, mature woodlands.

Lilley Brook Golf Club is Cheltenham’s premier golf course. Set in the magnificent Cotswold hills, this course is a mature park land course which is designed to be challenging and enjoyable. When you play the course you are treated to the most magnificent view of the regency town of Cheltenham and Gloucestershire.

 

Cleeve Hill Golf Course

Organised golf has been played on Cleeve Hill since 1891 when the elite Cheltenham Golf Club was formed and the first course was set out on the lower slopes of the Common. Since then there have been several successive courses, the latest one being the current Cleeve Hill Golf Course that is home to the Cleeve Cloud Golf Club.

 

Broadway Golf Club

Uniquely located 850 ft above sea level on a Cotswold escarpment with exceptional views over the Vale of Evesham, this inland links style golf course provides a challenge for golfers of all abilities. Burford Golf Club

Burford golf course offers easy walking along sheltered tree lined fairways with few hills. At a length of 6,401 yards, the course is particularly challenging yet rewarding for golfers of all experience levels and handicaps. There are buggies and trolleys available for hire and as the course enjoys good drainage, it is playable all year round

 

Cotswolds Hills Golf Club

Opened in 1976, the course has matured over the years, and is now regarded as one of Gloucestershire's premier courses. The course is set in an outstanding Cotswold landscape and greens and fairways are kept in wonderful condition throughout the year. During the winter, the turf is free draining and the course is rarely closed due to wet weather.

 

Naunton Downs Golf Club

Naunton Downs is an 18 hole, par 71 course, situated in an area of outstanding Cotswold countryside, known for it's charm and tranquillity. The course was designed keeping the natural features and landscape in mind, and offers a challenge to suit golfers of all ages and abilities.
