Conveniently situated close to Disney and Sea World, our detached four bedroom villa is well equipped to cater for all of your Florida holiday needs, complete with air conditioning, wireless broadband internet connection, well equipped games room, plus your own private 30ft by 14ft solar-heated swimming pool which means that you can now swim all year round. For your added convenience we also provide free landline calls to the UK, USA, Canada and Europe.

 

*** Mickey's Woodland Retreat has recently undergone a major ($22,000) face-lift, which was completed in mid-December 2010. This modernisation included the removal of three internal walls to make a huge open-plan living area, a contemporary new kitchen and breakfast bar, two new wall-mounted TVs, ceiling fans in every room, down-lighting throughout the kitchen and living areas, and re-tiling of the entire villa ***

 

With two en suite bedrooms, two further bedrooms, plus a third bathroom, our villa sleeps eight people in comfort. There is also a pull-out double sofa for two extra guests if required. The property is located in an idyllic conservation area, backing onto a large wooded area, with a small fishing lake close by.

In addition to the kitchen, there is also a separate utility room containing a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The two master bedrooms each have an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. One master has a King-size bed and wall-mounted flat-screen TV, whilst the other with a Queen-size bed.

There are two further bedrooms, each containing twin beds, TV, DVD Player and Video Recorder.

All bedrooms are air conditioned.

There is an additional bathroom with bath and shower for shared use.

Cable TV with a full Sports & Movie package is provided in three rooms.

The covered solar-heated pool measures 30ft by 14ft, and can be accessed directly from both the master suite and the living room via sliding patio doors. The pool area is completely screened for your comfort and security, and pool furniture is also provided for your use.

A fitted safe is available at no charge for our guests to store their small valuables.

The Games Room contains a table tennis table, an electronic darts board, a 7ft 6in Pool table and a 6ft Air Hockey table.

Ceiling Fans are fitted in all appropriate rooms.

 

The villa is tastefully decorated with over thirty original works by Susan Duxter (renowned Canadian author and artist).

We are ideally situated 10 minutes from Disney World, 20 minutes from Sea World, and only 25 minutes from Universal Studios and Island of Adventures. US Highway 192 is close by, providing access to a variety of shops and restaurants, and for the full US shopping experience the Kissimmee and Orlando shopping malls are also within easy reach. Directly behind the property there is a beautiful woodland walk leading to two large conservation lakes, whilst nearby there are a wide range of golf courses, fishing lakes and horse riding facilities.

 

The Kennedy Space Centre and the Atlantic beaches at Cocoa Beach are one hour away to the East, whilst Busch Gardens and the Gulf Coast beaches are one hour to the West.  To the South you will find the famous Florida Everglades, where you can experience the excitement of an airboat ride through the swamps.

International access is easy, with Orlando International Airport a forty minute drive away, whilst Sanford International airport is only an hour.

Celebration Golf Club
The renowned father-son team of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. sculpted a park-like atmosphere within the natural wetland environment, creating a truly serene golf experience. The course boasts rolling terrain that weaves through a series of pristine lakes and periodic clusters of native oak, pine and magnolia.

Falcons Fire
Falcon's Fire Golf Club is a Rees Jones Signature Design Masterpiece which pays respects to the timeless traditions to the game of golf. This natural, classic 18 hole, par 72 golf course establishes the standards by which all golf facilities are evaluated.

 

Ridgewood Lakes Golf and Country Club
The Ridgewood Lakes course opened in 1994 with both nines featuring strategically placed hazards and fairways framed by sparkling white sand bunkers. Par-4 and par-5 holes have generous tee shot landing areas, all of which are plainly visible form the tee.

 

Champions Gate Golf
The National Course at Champions Gate is a classic layout of America's finest destinations.
