John & Gilly Hendry warmly welcome you to Muirfield Green Bed and Breakfast in the pretty village of Gullane in East Lothian, otherwise known as 'Scotland's Golf Coast'. We are uniquely situated within 21ft or 7metres from the gates of the renowned Muirfield Golf Course , home to the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers.

Accommodation is  in the quiet and peaceful renovated 19thC two-bedroomed character cottage adjacent to our home, an historic grade 'A' listed house.   The cottage is tucked peacefully between two sunny courtyard gardens with the emphasis on comfort:  comfortable beds, crisp white linen, extra large towels and the added luxury of contemporary bathrooms en suite with underfloor heating. 

A unique feature of  Muirfield Green Bed and Breakfast is  its separate keypad entrance to the cottage from the car parking area. This ensures your independence and  privacy, allowing you to come and go as you please.

The Dormie Suite: twin room en-suite with tv & hairdryer. Private sittingroom with folding guest bed, mini-kitchen with fridge.   Washing  & ironing facilities.

The Garden Room: twin room en-suite with sofa, tv & hairdryer, tea tray.

The Dormie Suite:   £55.00 pp per night

The Garden Room: £45.00 pp per night 

Included in the tariff is our delicious and wholesome breakfast of seasonal fruit salad,  porridge, muesli &  cereals and organic eggs.  Try our homemade jams with croissants, muffins or scones.   Plain and fruit yoghurts, fresh fruit juices plus a selection of teas and coffee are  also served.    A full traditional breakfast is available for a £5.00 supplement.  Individual dietary needs  are catered for with advance notice. 

Where we are

Keen golfers will be pleased to know that we are an incredible 7 metres from Muirfield Golf course,  home of the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers. Muirfield has hosted the British Open in 2002 and the British Senior Open in 2007.

East Lothian lays claim to being the birthplace of golf in the 15th century, boasting 19 excellent courses. Gullane has 3 of its own.   Within 5-25 minutes lie a number of other renowned courses, including Archerfield Links, The Renaissance, North Berwick, Dunbar, Luffness New, Craigielaw and Royal Musselburgh (the oldest course in Scotland), among others. All clubs offer a warm welcome to visitors.

Race meetings take place at Musselburgh Race Course , some fifteen minutes' drive away.
