The 525 is a very stylish and quiet place at the seaside of the Mar Menor (Murcia) because of its design, quality and meticulousness with little details. The good taste of this different and elegant hotel turns the place to “a special place to stay in”.
It is divided up into 5 floors and 108 rooms: 90 double standard rooms, 9 superior rooms and 9 suites.

El Valle Golf Resort
The El Valle golf course has 18 holes, is par 71 with 4 tees and has a subtle desert feel to it. It has 2 lakes, streams, small waterfalls and groups of bunkers all surrounded by rocks and abundant native vegetation which make this course a great challenge. Nicklaus Design has designed this course.
La Torre Golf Course
La Torre golf course has 18 holes, par 68 course with four sets of tees and 3 lakes. This course has reduced dimensions and wide fairways and large bunkers. At 5,400 metres it is a course where accuracy and strategy are fundamental. This course has the signature of Nicklaus Design.
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Course
This Nicklaus Design course has 18 holes, is par 72 and is larger than average. The fairways of the Hacienda Riquelme golf course run between Olive trees, wild flowers and 5 lakes. They are sown with the latest variety of Paspalum grass which has a high saline tolerance. This leads the grass to stay in tip top condition with less water.
Roda Golf Resort
Roda Golf Course is an excellent 18 hole, par 72 golf course, exclusively designed by Dave Thomas, one of the most famous European designers. The total area of the greens is 10.800 m2 plus one putting green of 950 m2. The bunkers area is 15.200 m2. The enjoyment of all players is guaranteed on this course, no matter of their level

Each of La Manga Club’s three 18-hole championship courses has been designed to offer you a unique challenge,
South Course 18 holes, 73 par, 6998 yards. Parkland.
Originally designed by Robert Putman and modified by Arnold Palmer, the South Course has undergone a complete refurbishment over the last couple of years. The main changes include more water hazards, tree plantation and green alterations and has seen it become much more of a challenge to the discerning golfer. and bunker
Nortth Course 18 holes, 71 par, 6289 yards. Parkland.
The North Course is slightly shorter than the South but has tighter fairways and larger greens. This undulating course is positioned between palm trees, lakes and barrancas (natural gullies) with precision rather than length required to score well. Built to USGA specification, the amount of movement in the greens adds to the challenge.
West Course 18 holes, 73 par, 6527 yards. Parkland.
The fairways are narrow and gullies are deceptively placed to catch golfers out. The blind spots and frequency of elevation changes makes this an ideal challenge for more tactical golfers. The front 9 holes require accurate drives due to the tight fairways but on the back nine the fairways are more open but more hilly.
Mar Menor Golf Resort
The golf course at Mar Menor Golf Resort was opened in 2005, marking the first stage of the marvellous Nicklaus Golf Trail at Polaris World. Each hole on this golf course requires the utmost attention and concentration; everything rests on the player's ability and problem solving skills to overcome the problems presented by this incredible golf course.
Roda Golf has been designed to be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. Its has 18 holes of extensive and undulating greens, strategically-placed bunkers and three large lakes that form part of this very exciting course. The most famous hole on the course is the 7th, who has an extremely scenic island green.
Designed by former Ryder Cup Player and world champion, Manuel Pinero, La Serena Golf Course is a superb golf course and provides an interesting game of golf. The course is predominately flat and not overly long, however golfers are faced with prevailing Levante wind that should be taken into account with each shot. La Serena also has some tricky water hazards that come into play on the 16th and 18th holes

Golf in the Region of Murcia is beginning to boom. The new golf courses in the area are joining the already established La Manga resort. You will be in a small area but still have so much choice of where you can play, believe me you will enjoy the courses if you play the right one.

Some of the fantastic courses in the area are: -
The Nicklaus golf trail – there we have El Valle, La Torre, Hacienda Requelme and Mar Menor. Now Open, Condado the master piece Nicklaus signature course! This is the icing on the cake for the region as Jack Nicklaus has chosen his best designed golf holes and put them on one course, fantastic!!
At present my choice in order of excellence is Condado signature course, El Valle, Hacienda Requelme, La Torre and then Mar Menor El Valle is the flag ship of Polaris World Golf Resort and the course is stunning. Great holes with fantastic views and a joy to play.
Price wise? Expect to pay around 80 euros but residents of Polaris get green fees for 55 euros. Speak to us first and we can help out with great deals.
Roda Golf and Beach Resort – This is a course which is always enjoyable to play, friendly staff and a lovely bar and restaurant to finish off the day. I find this course a great resort course, easy on the eye, not too difficult but some holes will catch you out. The signature holes are the par three seventh and the 18th which is a par five with your third or second shot (big boy) over water onto a tight landing area. Price wise? Normally very good but expect to pay up to 80 euros but you can get deals, ask us first.
Hacienda Del Alamo – This is another great course. Set in the mountains a little further south, about a twenty minute drive from Los Alcazares. This course is long and similar to a desert course and has plenty of water and long at seven thousand yards. The new club house was opened a few months back and is very attractive. A good welcome from the staff there, the buffet lunch is excellent, well worth a try after a round. A brand new apart hotel and Spa will be opened later in the year.
Again, 80 euros is the price but we can get this cheaper also, ask us for transfers if you don’t fancy driving. Well worth a visit if you like a long course, but use your handicap and you will play well.
La Manga Resort – We had to bring this one in, well it is so established and a must to play. Three different courses and normally busy. Excellently well kept and manicured but the price is expensive. Well over 150 euros a round but we can secure deals for you, just ask, it is well worth a visit.
Lo Romero – has now been open just under a year and has had some great reviews. It is situated about thirty minutes from La Torre in Pilar De Horadada and is a park land type course. Some holes are tricky but easier than some courses out here. Is well liked by people who are used to UK style courses. Reasonably priced at 45 euros also – but these prices are likely to increase soon?
La Serena – This is a new course also. Treat it with respect as you will end up with no golf balls in your bag!! There are sixteen holes where water comes in to play, could be a disaster if your fade turns to a slice. Can be quite windy as it is close to the Mar Menor. Worth a visit though, you’ll enjoy if you are ready for control rather than distance. Again, in the region of 70 euros but we can get a deal there.
Mosa Trajectum - At Mosa there are three nines, you choose what you want to play. The hardest is the ‘Stones’, long and quite tight in places. Hasn’t had the best of reports recently due to a little water shortage. A good test of golf and one which you will more than likely enjoy. Eighty euros again but we can secure deals, ask and we will check.
Peraleja Golf – a new course designed by ‘Seve’ and lovely to play. Some very nice holes and the greens can catch you out. We played there with Tommy Horton recently and he was amazed at the greens, especially the first – this is a par five over water, dog leg slightly right and then you hit a green that is slopped towards the water, not easy and a card breaker before you start.
There are numerous other courses in the area, for example Villa Martin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas which are near to the Villa Martin Square. The older courses in the area but very good to play, my favourite is Villa Martin, the first in the area.
