We are in a convenient location for touring the many attractions that belong to the East Neuk of Fife. Situated in the heart of St Andrews, a pleasant stroll away from the famous ‘Old Course’ , a must for golfers and non-golfers alike, just minutes away from the magnificent beach and imposing North Sea.
After your bed and breakfast at Craigmore, there is plenty to do and see in the medieval university town of St Andrews, Castles, Museums, Gardens, coastal walks and numerous eating establishments catering to all tastes.
We will happily arrange transportation for people staying at Craigmore, who do not wish to drive into St Andrews. The nearest train station is Leuchars and as everything is within walking distance in St Andrews, a car is very rarely necessary

Our spacious and comfortably furnished rooms boast the considerate small touches that make all the difference for a comfortable bed and breakfast stay. Many of our rooms and bathrooms have recently been refurbished, including the addition of your own personal refrigerator.
Our accommodation provides a choice of double rooms (king size beds), triple, twin bedded and family rooms all with en suite shower rooms. Room 1 on the first floor has an en suite bathroom with bath and shower. We can also offer a twin bedded room on the ground floor with an en suite shower room.
All rooms have flat screen televisions with dvd players, hospitality tray and hairdryers. The bedrooms have central heating radiators with individual thermostats. For chillier nights extra blankets are provided. We also provide complimentary toiletries in the en suite bathrooms.

We also provide Continental breakfasts for early birds and nibbles to take with you.

Our breakfast and living room is a nice place to relax at any time during the day and guests can make use of the free internet access or work on their own computers as WiFi is provided. We offer Winter Golf Packages and can help with balloting for the Old Course.
The winter golf package comprises 3 nights bed and breakfast and 3 rounds of golf - one on the world famous Old Course and any two from the New, Jubilee, Eden or Strathtyrum courses (all subject to availability). Both golf and accommodation offer significant savings on normal fees and, in addition, each participant receives £15 worth of catering vouchers for the Links or Eden Clubhouses. The package is available from mid-October to mid-April. Booking commences 1 August so contact us early for a brochure and information to ensure you get the tee times you require.

The Old Course is unrivalled for its history and prestige, the New and Jubilee offer true links challenges as does the Eden with a slightly lower yardage. Kingsbarns Golf Course
Regarded as one of the finest additions to Scottish links golf in recent years, Kingsbarns is home to dramatic sea views on every hole and is as good a links as they come. The par-72 course, a mammoth 7,126 yards from its championship tees, has wide open fairways that roll over undulating ridges and hollows and expansive greens.
Fine links fairways and excellent greens have ensured that it has been regularly selected as a final qualifying golf course for the Open Championship. Narrow fairways, bunkers, burns, and ever-changing winds guarantee a testing but rewarding golfing experience.

The Village: Kingskettle is a quiet charming village which is nestled in the Howe Of Fife. It is about 30 min drive from St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife and within easy reach of all main tourist attractions. The village has a local Hotel which serves excellent food and a further two pubs. There is a small Post Office / Grocery store and an outlet which sells freshly prepared rolls, baguettes etc from early morning. It is located 1 mile from Ladybank Railway Station which gives passengers a hassle free trip to all major destinations including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Inverness etc.

A heathland course of Championship status (Par 71) set amongst heather, pine trees and silver birch. The Championship course (6754 yards) has two loops of nine holes - visitors generally use the blue course (6299 yards).
Falkland Golf Course is a short, but tough test of golf, set deep in a lush farmland area known as the 'Howe of Fife'. This is a charming 9 hole courses of undulating parkland layout.
Situated in Markinch near Glenrothes and set within 140 acres of superb woodland, this beautiful layout opened in 1983 and, with a par of 71 and measuring 6,300 yards from the men's tees, is a good challenge for golfers of all abilities.
Cupar Golf Club is believed to be the oldest continous 9-hole golf club in the world ith Nine scenic holes on alternative tees, Cupar's nine holes will entertain players of all abilities

Scoonie Golf Club is situated in the seaside town of Leven in the Kingdom of Fife. It is a picturesque parkland course about 15 miles from the famous Old Course in St.Andrews and enjoys panoramic views to the north over farmland and hills and to the south over the beautiful Forth estuary .
The course provides a challenge for the serious golfer and pleasant golfing experience for all. The course has a testing finishing five holes which hold your attention to the very end. Here, the River Ore comes into play with the par three, 14th 'Burn' hole a particular feature

Pitmedden Farm is located 1.5 miles north of the ancient village of Auchtermuchty in a beautiful rural setting with direct access to Pitmedden Forest for those who enjoy walking and wildlife, off-road cycling or just peace and tranquillity, whilst still being close to a host of interesting facilities and historic places.
Please Note - Pitmedden is only a "hobby farm" so your stay will not be disturbed by noisy farm machinery moving about.
