WELCOME TO SAHEDA a cosy, homely Victorian seaside property offering our golfing guests comfortable accommodation in which to relax and unwind after an exhilarating day on the golf course.
Overlooking the sandy beach, the spacious lounge (TV and DVD) offers stunning views out over the Firth of Forth and at the rear of the property the tranquil sun lounge opens onto a secluded garden in which to enjoy refreshments before some Al Fresco dining, a BBQ in the summer months or taking a short stroll to the many friendly restaurants and pubs in the town.
Bedrooms: For your golf party of up to 6/7 persons is one double and two twin bedrooms on first floor and if required an additional single bed in the lounge. All beds have duvets, two pillows per person and we provide you with both bath and hand towels.
Bathrooms: You have one ensuite bathroom on first floor with a full size bath with electric shower over, heated towel rail and shaver point. In addition, there is a second original Victorian style bathroom and on the ground floor a cloakroom.
Living area - You have a separate dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with double electric oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, iron and pulley for drying golf attire overnight. Tesco is only 5 minutes by car or they will deliver if you wish to stock up in advance.
You can park up to two cars in the drive and there is a large hall cupboard for coats/golf clubs and there is a lockable shed in the garden for extra storage.
For time “off the course” or for those on holiday wishing to sightsee, the Scottish Seabird Centre, harbour and boat trips to the Bass Rock are close by, along with a variety of interesting shops, galleries, cafes and scenic beach walks. The historic castles, nature reserves and attractions such as Glenkinchie Distillery, National Museum of Flight, Myreton Motor Museum, Belhaven Brewery, Musselburgh Race Course and East Links Farm Park for the younger visitors, offer a perfect day out.
Sailing, cycling, archery, clay shooting, fishing, karting, in-door swimming, horse riding or spa treatments at the Marine Hotel are all here for your enjoyment. Closer to Saheda, outside the back gate is the putting green (great for a fun golf group competition) and the tennis courts. From North Berwick Law you can view the surrounding countryside and off course, the beach is only yards away for an invigorating swim.
Visit Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city – drive or take the 30 minute train journey from North Berwick station into Edinburgh Waverley.
Saheda Rental Prices include all your heating, hot water, electricity, linen and WIFI. In the high season, we let on a weekly basis from Sat-Sat, but will consider shorter breaks other times of the year. Weekly lets range from £400 - £850.

Henry Cotton called it ‘cruelly fair’. Tom Watson said there was ‘not a weak hole on the course’
One can be astonished in middle age to walk off the 18th green feeling so invigorated and refreshed. The nature of the turf probably has something to do with this, being of the springy type which gives gently to the feet, like a rich Persian carpet. The sea air too has its beneficial qualities and the course is sensibly flat apart from minor undulations associated with seaside courses.

This self catering accommodation is available for holiday let 52 weeks of the year - ideal for family holidays, golfing parties or those looking to relax in front of some beautiful coastal scenery. Rooms: The rooms in Beach House are spread over three floors.
Living Area: The kitchen is fully fitted including fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine, with a good sized dining room next door. Both on the ground floor. The sitting room is on the first floor offering a fantastic view of the beach.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms: You will find a double and a single bedroom on the first floor, with the master bedroom and a twin and single bedroom on the second floor. There are two bathrooms in the house, on the ground and second floors, both have a full three piece suite with a shower above the bath.
North Berwick is located in East Lothian around 25 miles from Edinburgh city centre, there are established road and rail links, with a 30 minute train journey running every hour and a one hour bus journey every 30 minutes. Offering both individuals and families a great variety of activities, whilst at the same time offering perfect, peaceful, relaxing, tranquil holidays and great day visits.
Beach House is only a few minutes walk from the harbour and the Scottish Seabird Centre. The West Links offers a unique golfing experience, and poses a true challenge for even the most proficient golfer. It is a true links course – steeped in history – and complete with traditional revetted bunkers, blind holes, drives over walls and burns together with magnificent views towards the sea.
Golf as it's meant to be. The great game but without any great fuss and bother. Here to be enjoyed by those who appreciate things done well. But never overdone.
The links were designed by Park and Sayers with minor modifications over the years. What is interesting, for example is that the first hole, par 3, is due north whilst the 2nd hole is the only par 5 and, when played into the prevailing wind from the south west, can play more like a par 6 or7!
Designed by the famous Open champion and golf architect, James Braid, a picturesque parkland course kept in tip-top shape and a treat to play, especially when you are coming into the home stretch on the last five holes.

Well defined holes following the natural contours of a narrow strip of land between the old red sandstone deer park wall and the rocky shoreline are the hallmarks of these links. At a little over 6,500 yards, it is not the longest championship course. But any golfer thinking this equates to a lack of challenge will soon be put right.
