A 7 minutes stroll away is the local family beach of S Lourenco with it´s great beach cafe and in common with other beaches in the area it has been awarded the European Blue Flag (for safety and cleanliness), in season there are full time lifeguards. The next beach 2 kilometres distance is the best surfing waves in Western Europe and operates a surfing school. The area offers golf with 15 Championship courses within easy reach, tennis, big game fishing, mountain biking, hiking and 4x4 in the local forest also pony trekking any of which we would be happy to arrange for you or your party. Just a short drive away from Sintra and only 45 minutes from Lisbon.
Accommodation
A quality large house providing superior bed and breakfast accommodation standing on its own in a prime position with a stunning view of the Atlantic Coast and beach of S. Lourenco.
There is a large private eco-friendly pool with a sea view in the extensive gardens.
Villa Vista - The House
The house has five double/twin rooms all with private bathrooms (en-suite), four of which have a sea view & their own door onto the balcony. You can book up to five rooms or just one room and meet other discerning guests.
During high season we prefer weekly bookings,but please try for availability. Outside peak season we will be happy to take mid week or long weekend bookings for those who want a short break in the sun.
Three of the rooms have a bath with shower and the other two have shower rooms. All the rooms have a fridge, radio alarm, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
The property has full central heating.
There is a large private pool in the extensive gardens with views of the sea.
On the first floor is a delightful living area where guests can meet. This is cool in summer or cosy in the winter around the log fire. In addition there is satellite TV, a room for playing chess and card games, with Internet access & telephone.
The breakfast room and adjoining terrace where breakfast can be taken, overlooks the pool and Atlantic Ocean.

Well known for its excellent conditions of its 9 holes, the Vimeiro Golf Course was built on the bank of the Alcabrichel River and right next to the sea. The Vimeiro Golf Course offers panoramic views of rare beauty of the Region.
The Atlantic Course is an 18-hole, par 72, championship course of 6,290 meters, offering a challenging course with breathtaking views over the ocean with Estoril and Cascais to the South and the Sintra hills to the North. The Monastery Course is a nine-hole, par 35 course of 2,588 meters. This course spreads around the historical heart of the resort and is the perfect complement to The Atlantic Course.
Belas Golf Club - 18 holes Par 72 6380 yards
With its excellent variety of holes, the course is a pleasure to play, whatever one's handicap level. It demands both skill and tacticall play and is acknowleged both locally and internationally as one of Portugal's best constructed layouts. Many outstanding holes can easily be remembered even after playing the course only once.
Lisbon Sport Club - Golf Course 18 Holes 5233 metres Par 69
Lisbon Sports Club blends harmoniously into a romantic landscape. This is a golf course that demands both skill and imagination because of a stream that influences at least 12 of the holes. A number of difficulties, woods to the left, stream on the right, and bunkers on both sides challenge the player even with his first shot. Enjoy unforgettable contact with nature, and admire the cypresses, the eucalilpti and wild flowers, while at the same time facing up to shots that tax the imagination.
Quinta da Beloura Golf Club 18 holes 5878 metres Par 73
This is the Estoril Coast's newest course and the flat terrain makes this an enjoyable and not exhausting course. Designed by Rocky Roquemore, there are 6 lakes and 40,000 trees, so accuracy is key here. Excellent mountain views. Practice range, tuition.
Quinta da Marinha Golf Club 18 holes, 6014 metres, Par 71
This Robert Trent Jones designed course is set in a private estate of 110 hectares. It was the 1988 host of the Quinta dion: form-data; name="descriptioan Professional's Women's Circuit) and in 2002 was host to the Estoril Open (PGA Tour Event). It is wooded with pine trees, has flat terrain, many bunkers and a number of lakes.
