Come and enjoy the long warm evenings under the pergola running along our 19th century country house and taste the wine from our characteristic cellar. You can relax in the long garden which slopes down to an ancient Franciscan monastery still in use.
The accommodation to rent consists of three bedrooms each with its own bathroom on the ground floor, first and second floors. These can be rented together or just in part. The owners also live in the house and are happy to advise and help their guests in any way. The bedrooms are kept in the original style of the house and have furniture of the early 19th century. Merate is situated in the first hills above the Padana plain just below the Alps and near Lake Como. It is also near the River Adda where you can still see the hydraulic projects designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Golf Brianza Country Club : The course is set in a natural amphitheatre with some very undulating hills and a flat part with 4 lakes included characterizing the hardest holes of Golf Brianza. The classical nature of the Brianza offers views to the mountains in the background and Resegone Grigna.
Golf Club Milano : All 27 holes at Milano are routed through relatively flat terrain and the mature trees of this parkland setting ensure each hole is played in virtual isolation – in fact, it is only when the nearby Monza racetrack is in operation that any sound of the outside world can be heard.
Golf Club Bergamo: Following the 1987 inauguration of the last 9 holes, Bergamo Golf Club “L’Albenza” boasts a wonderful course, consisting of 27 holes of high technical and architectural standard.
Carimate Golf Club: The mature woodland estate of a medieval castle serves as the host to a delightful golf course, which reflects perfectly the character of the rural Lombardy landscape. From the back tees, Carimate can be stretched to 6,579 yards, and should present a decent challenge to golfers of all abilities.
Molinetto Country Club : Finished in 1983, the Italian Open already took place here in 1985. Ballesteros and Chapman played here. It is a typical flat course, complicated by narrow fairways, which force to play precisely.
Golf Club Villa Paradiso : The 18 hole course was created by the designer Franco Pira, to be a real championship course measuring 6.606 meters. The course has 5 lakes that are strategically placed to give the holes an elevated technical content as well as great length. Each hole however, thanks to its 5 tees to start, offers great satisfaction even to less powerful players.

Vezio
This village, set on a bluff above Varenna, is situated at the center of Lake Como. It dates back to the VI century A.D. and was a Celtic Ligurian settlement or possibly even Etruscan. Its name most probably derives from “Vescia,” a small town in Lazio, where the famous Roman, Vescinus was born. Vescinus was entrusted with the planning and building of the “castrum” in Vezio.

]]>A farm, which is both in a town and in the countryside, near Lake Como where George Clooney lives, the mountains of Valsassina and those surrounding Lecco, will soon be turned into a holiday farm. At the moment it offers Bed & Breakfast. The building, which is situated in the old town centre of Bonacina, on the occasion of its centenary, has been completely restored while maintaining its original warmth.
Bonacina is a district of Lecco at the foot of Piani d'Erna and Mount Resegone. There is a stream, Caldone, running opposite the farm. You can find everything here, amusement, relaxation, sport, culture, food and wine. If you want to relax you can enjoy our swimming pool, the landscape and the wonderful weather. You can reach the cities of Bergamo and Milan in less than one hour. Switzerland is near too, as well as the mountains of Saint Moritz or Lake Lugano. Peo and Graziella, your hosts, who know the area really well, will give you the best advice.
The B&B offers three comfortable rooms with two beds each. One room has a sofa bunk bed and it is suitable for two to four people. The rooms, all en suite (with magnifying mirror and hairdryer), are equipped with safe-deposit, summer-winter air conditioning system, independent panel heating, remote controlled rolling shutters, panel curtains, mini-bar and satellite television with a slot for the main prepaid cards. Each room overlooks a small private lawn linked to the main garden.
Whenever you would like to drink a herb tea you can make it yourself in the kitchen-veranda. Peo and Graziella will do their best to make you feel at home and to meet all your needs.
As an alternative to the B&B, you can rent two rooms, a kitchen-veranda and a laundry to be completely independent.

It is equipped with a basin to wash your feet and a hot and cold water shower.
Private garden. The building is surrounded by a terraced garden where the structures for the guests. Guests have the opportunity to use a field, situated along the stream for picnics and barbecues.
Breakfast: According to the season and the weather, breakfast is served in a conservatory in the main building or on the veranda which overlooks the swimming pool, next to the garden. Breakfast time is usually from 8 to 10 am; any particular need can be discussed with Peo and Graziella. A typical and rich Italian breakfast includes seasonal and local products. We prefer typical products of the area, fresh and grown in a naturally.

Many bunkers and water hazards provide a high level of difficulty. The club house overlooks several holes and a spacious view of the Montorfano lake.

Golf Club Carimate
Golf Club Carimate is located on the 60 hectares of the centuries-old park of Carimate castle, which is halfway between Milan and Como. The golf course is varied and rolling, challenging and amusing both for expert players and beginners. Recently some bunkers have been added and some others have been modified, while some greens have been remade, thus making the course even more demanding.

The golf course is set in a charming and panoramic location and despite its limited length the ingenious use of the double tees makes it varied and interesting. Golf Club Monticello
A 36-hole layout comprising the 'Red' and 'Blue' courses. Many renowned players from the golfing world have played here, most during the four Italian Opens held at this course. A short 7 mile drive from Como, Italian designer Luigi Caccia Dominioni created a layout which marries the essential characteristics of golf in this region – tree lined fairways, views of the surrounding mountains and the use of water on many holes to keep the golfer's interest peaked at all times.
Fiammetta and Piero welcome you to the B&B Le Eriche in their little detached house just 2 km from Menaggio, a famous tourist resort in the Lake Como area.
It is the ideal place for people who love the quiet and the open-air life. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and of the surrounding mountains. On their arrival guests are received with a welcome cocktail.
The B&B has two rooms with private access. Each has a small garden furnished with a table, chairs, deckchairs, and a parasol. Private parking is available.

For the past six generations my family has spent most of the summer at this house; this is the place you leave from and come back to, the place you come to in order to feel refreshed, revived, reinvigorated and where you can catch up with everyone in the shade of the gardens' centuries old trees.
Nowadays the house sees the passing of the seasons and I am glad to be able to treat my guests to the same atmosphere of elegant sobriety, natural reserve and precious, but never flaunted, details I was brought up with from childhood. Villa Cavadini Relais is a rather "special" Bed & Breakfast near Como, a B&B full of charm where the all important first meal of the day is served with fresh bread and homemade jams, just like the one Aurelia used to give us as children. Breakfast, which is included in the price, is served from 8:00 onwards in a lovely frescoed room with fireplace overlooking the park. Guests needing breakfast earlier just need to give us sufficient notice and we’ll be happy to accommodate them.
From May to September Guests will be welcome to stay in the Veranda or drink a nice glass of perfectly chilled Prosecco under the walnut tree in front of the House.
Bicycles are at the Guests’ disposal for anyone wanting to explore the beautiful chestnut and oak woods surrounding Appiano Gentile or maybe even cycle to the “La Pinetina” Sports Club where tennis courts and an Olympic-size swimming pool are encircled by rolling green hills and ancient woods.

Villa Cavadini - b&b Como - is strategically positioned close to three lakes of extraordinary beauty: the lakes of Como, Lugano and Maggiore.
Their magical splendour was such that the lakes have, down the centuries, attracted the most illustrious names of Lombardy’s Society together with many personalities from further a field who chose one of these lakes to build their patrician villas. Here, lulled by the serenity of the local mild climate, they spent the happiest hours of their lives.
We can, by prior arrangement, organize one day excursions where guests will not only get to know the lakes and their peculiar beauty, but will also have lunch in the more fashionable local restaurants, in the most suggestive little inn, called “locanda” or even on board one of the typical steamboats which criss-cross the lakes daily in cruise-like style offering the best waterside views of the villas, the panorama and the islands.

Villa Navalia - Two unique apartments in one Villa setting lake front for an unforgettable holiday.
Villa Navalia is a large villa directly on the lake shore, overlooking the bay of Nobiallo and its marina. It sleeps 18 in 9 double rooms each with en suite bathroom. Rates are based on full house occupation (18), but please contact us about the ground floor (12) and upper floor (6) which can be offered separately, each having its own entrance and kitchen facilities. we also consider smaller parties in low and middle season.
Villa Navalia has on the ground floor an impressive 130 m2 panoramic front lake terrace, with spa/whirpool, furnished with deckchairs and wining and dining corner, the upper floor as a pleasant front lake terrace and each bedroom with en suite bathroom has a balcony. Underneath the villa , we have a large marina where sailing and speed boats are moored. It might be an idea to bring your own boat and explore the lake by own means, this is a special experience. Sailing lessons, speedboat, small motorboat and taxi boat rentals can be provided. We offer in 2011 two speedboats for hire, on a weekly basis, ask for rates. Having such a huge terrace, the villa is suitable for wedding parties and other events.

We are at 2 km from Menaggio centre, a lovely little town with a lively boulevard, nice shopping center, busy weekly market for your "Italian bargain", pleasure harbour, boat stop to cross over to Bellagio and Varenna, large public beach facilities with outdoor swimming pools.
The pretty village of Menaggio is situated in the heart of Lake of Como. Thanks to its central position, Menaggio is an ideal starting point for all kinds of excursions: by boat you can visit the beautiful villas with their lovely gardens and visit the golden triangle towns of Bellagio, Varenna and also yo Cadenabbia, Tremezzo and Como city.

Players can catch glimpses of the lakes and in the distance, the central Alps. The motto of the Club "Far and Sure" signifies a challenge to the Golfer's distance and accuracy. The Club was founded in 1903 when an Englishman, Mr. Wyatt, while searching for a tranquil place to enjoy playing golf was struck by the beauty of the surrounding area. Together with a small group of fellow golfers, the location was chosen and the official "Inauguration" was on 10th January 1907 at the Victoria Hotel in Menaggio. Menaggio Golf Club is typically alpine in nature with its 18 Holes running up and down according to its natural terrain. Some holes are steep and some fairways narrow. The greens are decidedly undulating and the length of the course is 5476 meters.

Lake Como is one of the most beautiful lakes in northern Italy, at 200 m sea level and 50 km long. It is also the deepest and situated on the south side of the alps which secures a temperate climate.
