Hazelfort is situated 3 miles (5km) outside of Ballyshannon, Co Donegal on the Belleek road. The local area is called Lissahully and is approx 1/2 mile from the main road. The house itself is on the grounds of our farm while only being 5 mins drive to either Ballyshannon or Belleek and the local beaches, Rossnowlagh & Murvagh are 10mins away.

Welcome to Inishowen Lodge on the spectacular Inishowen peninsula

Let us welcome you to our comfortable, modern Bed & Breakfast accommodation at Redcastle on the Inishowen peninsula of Donegal in the North West of Ireland, only 3 kms from Moville. It is on the Inishowen peninsula that you will find Malin Head, Ireland's most northerly point. On the way to Malin Head there are fine sandy beaches, beautiful scenery and an area steeped in history.

Inishowen Lodge enjoys panoramic views over Lough Foyle, and Moville’s town centre with local shops, restaurants and traditional Irish pubs is a 5 minute drive. A little further along the coast is the fishing village of Greencastle and the Blue Flag sandy beach of Stroove. The Greencastle Ferry to Magilligan provides direct access to the famous North Antrim Coast, the Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-rede rope bridge. The historic walled City of Derry is only a 25 minute drive from Redcastle. In Derry you will find many historical attractions, very good restaurants, bars, the Millennium Forum theatre and excellent shopping. Take the oportunity to visit the newly opened Peace Bridge across the Foyle. Inishowen Lodge provides a superb base from which to travel to these attractions, making our 3 night breaks very popular.

Inishowen Lodge has three spacious guest bedrooms, all with uninterrupted views over Lough Foyle. Each bedroom has its own private shower room and television. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided with home made cookies. Guests can enjoy a choice of cooked breakfast in our bright and airy sun room or on the patio (weather permitting!) This also provides a very pleasant area to sit and enjoy the wonderful view. In the winter our guest sitting room has a welcoming log fire.

We have a lifelong knowledge of the local area and are delighted to share this with our guests.

Greencastle Golf Club is a beautiful 18 hole links course which nestles in the idyllic surrounds of the Inishowen Peninsula. The course is on the banks of, and superb views across, Lough Foyle. It is based in the north of the Inishowen peninsula in County Donegal.

Ballyliffin Golf Course consists of two outstanding, contrasting links courses and 36 wonderful holes make up one of the finest golf resorts to be found anywhere in the world.
