Set within its own 14 acres of wooded parkland at the foot of the Grand Luberon mountain, Mas de la Boissière is ideally located at a base to explore this beautiful area of Provence. The property comprises 6 large bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. Three of the rooms have Super King sized beds or can be made up as twins and the other three are Kings. All bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard with antiques blended carefully with décor that is typically provençal. 

Walking through the front door, there is a wide and spacious hallway. To your right is the sitting room with a carved stone fireplace flanked by large, comfy sofas. Golf Chateaublanc 
At Chateaublanc Golf Course, the layout was designed by Gery Watine and Thierry Sprecher. It features some 30 odd bunkers with soft curves, and these are used to protect small greens, some of which are at the 6th, 14th and 15th holes and these are also perched on slopes. There are also ditches, ponds and reservoirs at this golf course.

Beauty is not always subjective or skin deep. Sometimes it is actually set in stone – literally in the case of the utterly delightful Le Clos Saint Saourde. 

For this 18th century building was painstakingly hewn out of the rock of the mountain, the result of which is that some areas and rooms have not walls to hold them in but the actual rock itself. The effect is a luminous quality that is as unique as it is stunning (and almost beyond description, but we’ll give it a try). It may as well have a “do not disturb” sign on the outside for everything is geared to providing an antidote to stress. 

The natural spring, the giant sycamore, the square courtyard, those stone walls we’ve mentioned, the surrounding vineyards and the exceptional view of the Dentelles de Montmirail all work together to seduce guests with its authenticity and serenity and little touches of magic. 

Suites and Rooms
All rooms (two suites and two doubles) are ample and decorated to a superb level of comfort, despite the seeming simplicity, and open out on to the square courtyard and its pond, across the never ending grapevines, whilst the Romanesque cathedral and the Sasso Barisano are also within view) and are kept naturally cool by the rock. 

In winter, the under floor heating discreetly diffuses heat through the Beaulieu rocks, so that even in the most inclement of weather the Clos Saint Sauorde remains cosy, serene and well nigh perfect. If you do go in the warmer months, however, do try the breakfast under the tree or the edge of the beautiful salt water swimming pool. Perfection indeed.

You can sample very fresh products at the shady terrace or in the pleasant little dining room at the Bastide. Great care is taken in the preparation of the vegetables which are sourced from organic farming as far as possible.

In the evening, you can choose for the daily menu, the chef’s suggestions, or a special menu from April to October. In the low season the daily menu is served on order.

Provence rosé wine is kept cool for you and you can choose from a selection of wines, from the area as well as from further fields.

Le Mas Des Busclats was built in the eighteenth century. It was owned by different families and was purchased a few years ago by Catherine.

Located on the edge of Rasteau, the bastide benefits from its situation by offering a wonderful view whilst being at only 500m from the village centre. Come and enjoy this exceptional panorama, cradled by the cicadas’ songs in the heart of a region which abounds in cultural heritage, curious sights and activities.

The bastide is modern and neatly furnished, with colourful and lights rooms. All the rooms are south-facing and offer a wonderful view.

At the ground floor you will find an open plan living / dining room ( TV, DVD ) with patio doors to terrace, a bedroom with a double bed en suite shower room, a kitchen fully equipped ( dish-washer, oven, micro-wave, vitro ceramic), a utility room ( washing machine ), WC.

At the first floor, 2 bedrooms with double bed, one bedroom with twin single bed, bathroom, separate WC.

The enclosed 2000m2 of garden, grounds with olives trees offer a stunning view of the vineyard, the Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail.

You will enjoy the swimming pool ( 8X5m) with roman steps.

Near the pool, a pool-house with a covered terrace. Closed to the house you will find an open and a covered terraces with a further dinning and sunbathing area.

Technical and narrow course. Located at 3 minutes of Orange centre and its famous ancient theatre, between Chateauneuf du Pape vineyard and Côtes du Rhône, the Orange golf unrolls its course with the Roman Provence colours.

Provence Country Club, l'Isle sur la Sorgue
The 18 hole championship golf course was designed by Jean Garaïalde and was built in 1989. Gerry Buckley and his son Guy, both golf devotees, continue to develop and refine the greens and fairways.

Golf de La Drome Provencale
Within an environment of calm and of peace , this nine hole course is a technical and undulating course, surrounded by the scents of thyme, rosemary and lavender. All levels welcome.

Grand Avignon Golf Course

Located in a nice and green countryside, this course is flat with large fairways. Pleasant for beginners, it will give satisfaction to experienced golfers too..

Chateaublanc Golf Course

6033 Metres Par 72 The site was originally planted with Poplar hedges renowned for their wind shielding qualities. These were cleverly used by the courses architectural duo to carve out the available space into independent fairways. At Chateaublanc Golf Course, the layout was designed by Gery Watine and Thierry Sprecher. It features some 30 odd bunkers with soft curves, and these are used to protect small greens.

The Rooms

Four pretty rooms with their spacious and private bathrooms are awaiting you. Each of them has been decorated with simplicity and tastefulness, with its own colour and charm and will incite you to dream and rest. The rooms are not equipped with televisions so that you may enjoy the sound of the crickets and the local birds to the fullest.

Three of the four rooms have a private deck. From each one of them, there is a superb view over the oak and pine tree covered hills and the valley with the vineyards and olive trees.

The swimming pool is located in the gardens below the house. You will enjoy relaxing in the sun or in the shade under the imposing lotus tree.

Pont Royal Golf Course
This wild, peaceful golf course reflects Provence and its architect, the late great Seve Ballesteros. A very fine test of golf where his trademarks of huge bunkers, well-placed trees and water hazards fit in beautifully with the natural ravines and undulations. Whatever the level (green card required) golfers will enjoy measuring themselves against the tactical challenges of a stimulating course. 18 holes - par 72 - considered to be among the finest in France. The Masters 13 Tournament is played in Pont Royal every October. A new six hole course with driving range and club house opened in April 2010 and is situated directly by Le Hameau des 3 Collines.

Pont Royal Golf Course
The 18 hole Pont Royal Golf Course, designed by Seve Ballesteros, is fully matured. It is a par 72 extending over 6303 meters. Excellent golfing facilities including, 6 hole par 3 course, driving range, academy and clubhouse with bar and restaurant open to non members. Tee times can be booked in advance by email. There are several other excellent golf courses within a 1 hour drive of Pont Royal.

TGV Gare at Aix-en-Provence and Avignon - approx 30-40 mins.
